I know I just got finished replying with "most vendors are priced in the same ballpark for unflavored nic base", but thought I'd point out that this velvet cloud unflavored is literally twice as expensive. I highly suspect they are just buying from the suppliers I'm listing below, and then reselling it to you at their regular mixed juice prices. FYI

I am going to order from wizard labs for my first diy ejuice order. I plan on order 120 ml of 18mg with vg base and 120 ml of pg. Mixing the the two together will yield 240 ml of 9 mg 50/50 pg/vg juice or just over 8 oz. This seems to me to be the easiest way to get into diy.
That is a great plan for straight unflavored, but if you plan to also dabble with flavors they will dilute it further. Adding 10% flavor to the 9mg juice will give you a final juice of 8.1 mg

I just received a liter of the 100mg base for $45. I am waiting on glass bottles so I can break it down and put it in the freezer. At that price, I just couldn't pass it up. That is enough nicotine for 280 bottles of 30ml juice at 12mg concentration I vape at. A few basic precautions in handling it is all that is necessary. It's a great deal from MFS. If I suck at trying to mix flavored juice, I have no problems with going the unflavored route with it. I don't see why anyone would pass up such a deal if they have any way to store it.
SITS, I stocked up when they had their sale a couple months ago of 1 liter for $50, which I thought was an awesome deal. If I hadn't already filled my freezer with THAT great deal, I would have been all over it when they dropped the price down to $45! And I love MFS.....I've vaped their nic juice ever since I began DIY.....almost four years now. I tried one order from Wizards Lab and didn't like the taste or smell of it at all. Went back to MFS and have used theirs ever since. I just hope I can use up all this nic juice in my lifetime!
I got a liter when it was $50... now Im wondering if I should get another liter... haha, I've only used like 2% of my first liter!! lol great stuff for sure. Its my first time with unflavored, but I don't have any reason not to get it from this vendor again.
edit: actually, I've only used 0.015% of the 100mg nic so far to mix with... 15ml of 1000ml lol....

i just re-did the math. thanks to these sales, i now have a 20 year supply of nic if i stay at 24mg. no way in hell, i'll live that long.

When the govt decides to come down on(tax) the industry over the lost tax revenue, and they will, I think everyone should stock up. The loss of tax revenue is huge so I am surprised they haven't done it already. I have never cared for the "sin" taxes on analogs because most of society reaps the benefit of those tax dollars while smokers are the only ones to pay it.

That is a deal that every vaper should be taking advantage of. Nic base will not always be as easy or cheap to acquire. Even if you've got a freezer full of nic, this deal is too hot to pass up.
