ok...i tried this first at 50/50 pg/vg with 18mg nic pg based...didnt much care for it.....switched it to 70pg and 30 vg and its much better still a little strange to me but satisfying....i could do this all day from time to time......good idea to clear a cartomizer with or clero or tank or whatever

I do 70/30 unflavored in ~15mg and it's really growing on me. Like when you lower the salt in your diet, it doesn't take much to stimulate the taste buds after a while. I like the subtle sting flavor of the nicotine mixed with the slightly sweet PG/VG.

Great idea. I prefer very light colored flavors, so does the carto/tank and atty. No boba's bounty here, but the coffee flavors are a sweet indulgence now and then. Flavorless seems like a great idea for clearing out the not-too-dark liquids. I spend enough time cleaning out clearo's, carts, etc. Thanks for the tip!

Cartos will last a lot longer with unflavored nicotine juice than flavored juice. It's the flavoring that fouls a carto first. God knows what compounds these flavorings cook down to when they are subjected to heated coils. Flavorings are the first thing that gunks up cartos.

The longer you use a carto the more moisture concentrates in the filler. This will also have detrimental affect on taste but the affects of heated flavoring byproducts is noticed first and more likely to cause the user to toss a carto.

Been going strong with unflavored RTS 70/30 12mg for about 17 days... Still lovin it! I just changed my carto. I have heard you can go up to a month but it just looked like it could use a change...still tasted great. I am about to mix up different nics to try. Ecx, WL ultra pure, WL ice. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

I look forward to hearing your results and if you can taste a difference at 12mg (my preferred level too).

Vaping unflavored at least lets a DIY'r know whats best to mix with. I've gone thru several suppliers and now know why some of my flavored stuff tasted soapy/sweatsocky or chemically.

I'd never buy flavored from a place that doesn't let me try their unflavored first, and most won't offer it for sale.

I've decided to help my sister quit and we're going with unflavored. It's nice sometimes to take that out of the mix. Allow them to focus just on using the equipment and such.

I always load up unflavored for anyone I loan gear to for their first experience. Sometimes I may add a hint of vanilla or something subtle but I can't tell you how many first timers I turned off because they didn't like the flavor of my juice. (even if they loved the smell)
It's always been info overload to explain to them even the basics of finding the right juice, let alone that I make it myself.

Now I keep it simple. They vape it, they like it, mission accomplished.

But flavorless is the answer I never posted on that other thread about being stuck on a desert island. 70/30 gives me the most bang for my buck. My ready to go mix is a little higher nic than I would normally vape because it's ready for 5-10% flavoring so I may add a little more vg at night if I want a nice relaxing vape. But during the day, I find I like the feel of the slightly higher nic percentage when there is no added flavors. I vape it at least one full day out of the week and then again as the spirit moves me.

I've been vaping exclusively unflavored for over a year now.

I started vaping as an elderly lifelong smoker with very little sense of taste left, thus I found most pre-mixed unsatisfying and started DIY and found I had to make my mixes 20 to 25% flavoring to get a good taste.

The problem with that was that with e-liq with flavorings with that high a concentration, my family was telling me they could smell my vaping - especially my favorite mixes which were heavy vanilla based.

The problem with that was I needed to stealth vape it work, and thus did not want to smell of anything.

Thus I first started vaping unflavored at work, and realized that for me it was just as satisfying as flavored, and that my cartos were lasting forever and thus it was a much cheaper and easier way to go.

I usually go through a carto in three days. after that it either has a tight draw or the flavor is muted or both. i'm sitting here amazed I still have the same boge single coil two hole cart I started with. anyone have a good idea of how long a cart will last using unflavored? also I imagine you get similar results with a RBA.

I've been vaping unflavoured for a couple of months now. That is after I was told by people around me that I was creating a smell, and not all agreed that it was pleasant. For stealth-vaping (restaurants, airplanes, hospitals, theatres etc) I think it is essential.

I have learned not to use it in a new clearo, or a PV that has just been recoiled/rewicked as there is often an unpleasant taste as the device beds-in. (This is often the case for flavoured juice too, but unflavoured is much more sensitive). Also, if used in PV that has had flavoured juice through it, expect a slight remnant of that flavour to persist for a few refills - not unpleasant, but I am told the vapour is practically odourless.

I mix my own flavourless 70%PG/30%VG/18mg nic. It is very easy to do, and very economical.
