So I was expecting the ability to breathe better, spend less money and not stink like stale cig smoke, however there were other, perhaps more significant benefits that I had not expected when I gave up smoking. One of the greatest side-effects from quitting was the added energy! I still cannot believe how much more energy I have now that I no longer smoke cigs! Another was that I was not expecting to abandon my 15-18 year long habit so quickly! Once I started vaping, I didn't really crave a cigarette nearly as much as I had anticipated. Has anyone else noticed any of this? Perhaps you have other positive side effects you have noticed after quitting analogs?

Congratulations on quitting the stinkies. It's awesome to not feel like that anymore...

One of the things I've noticed not feeling like a leper at family events. I was the only smoker and I was made to feel very uncomfortable with the way smoking made me smell. Now they can kiss my EVOD... I smell fruity!

Also South Texas in the summer means it's about 100 every day for 4 months, I love the fact I don't have to go outside to smoke anymore.

Great point! Yeah smoking is definitely not socially accepted like it once was; vaping is nearly odorless and promotes good conversation. I have had a lot of encouragement from family over the change. However, I actually miss going outside as I once did; though in Ohio, we don't see the heat like you do in Texas, I'm sure.

I see that im a harder worker my bosses have noticed this and are very happy in the switch I have made to vaping. Customers dont know I smoke and my family does not even realize I vape it never smells. Your teeth get white and your mouth is healthier. Vaping is the way to go. Ive even got friends into it to stop smoking cigs.

Awesome to hear you've spread your vaping influence to other smokers! I try to do the same and have seen some success as well. The more people who want to quit and can the better, imo!

I love that my teeth have gotten whiter! I guess I knew smoking made my teeth yellow, but didn't realize just how much. I also love that I no longer have to spray body spray every time I go for a smoke to try and cover up the smell. One benefit I guess is that I also don't feel like I have to wash my hair has much because it doesn't smell of smoke anymore. I save money on using less shampoo!

Agreed on all accounts. I'm also finding I'm really enjoying the act of vaping. Smoking had become so automatic, I rarely took the time to enjoy the smoke. With the PV I'm taking the time to really get a nice, rich draw.

Yes! When I smoked cigs, I would on occasion puff a pipe. For me vaping is more like the best parts of puffing on a pipe without any of the drawback. I have noticed that when I take a toot off my PV I am more thoughtful, if that makes sense? I enjoy the process and procedure far more than "getting through" a cigarette just because I was craving one.

I totally agree. There's a ritual that goes along with it and I get that sort of "contemplative" state of mind when I'm at it.

Spreading like wildfire here...one friend got an Ego for his birthday, then his wife got one, then me and my wife, now her sister and her boyfriend and like three others in our group of friends - one of my best friends' dads (40+ year smoker) even had an e-cig when I saw him last and said he'd cut his PAD habit in half. Loving it, and even better because in social settings we all talk about our vaping and no one feels weird busting out the Ego instead of the pack of cigs we all used to have.

Downside: went to light coals for a barbecue the other day and actually had to go digging for a lighter when a month ago me and every one of the five people in the backyard would've had at least one handy in seconds.
