Hi Cat, are the bedazzled tanks still an option for US choices? I know they were mentioned, but don't know if that was realized?

OK. I"ve decided.... no one can post anymore pictures or I might change my mind! I have been through this entire thread. I read every post and looked at every picture.
I decided I want #6 Ivory (it will go with with the gold or bronze & I can bling it to match - I do bead & crystal work). I also want the dark green #2. The numbers are from the original post by Ash, of the drip tips, on 4/24/14.
I prefer the US size. If that's a problem, I'll be happy to get what I get! Whew!! That was the hardest decision I've had to make in a long , long time.
Cat, You must've missed my "final decision" post. This is definitely what I want.

Kat, I prepper & primed 3. 2 did great, the 3rd sucked to no end - it wouldn't draw at all. But, it was a generic carto that came with a cheap tank I bought. It was slotted & had thick 'foam'-like material less than 1/2 way up. I have no clue how to make it work - I think I'll just replace it with one of the other pre-punched cartos. All in all - 2 out of 3 wasn't bad for my first try.
Sadly and I know....... say it isn't so....... many bits of gear are simply no good from the get go. I have found I don't spend an extra nano second on those things. Toss, and move on.
2 out of 3 is a great score!

mommay wants ivory...after all those posts, too....silly me i have corrected the list. Concur??Hula-I am sure Kathy (bedazzle) will follow through on making us up some tubes. She had asked us for possible designs and colors to ensure she makes what people are wanting to match their tank. What we should probably do is give her our preferences after we get this order placed.
I need to have Ash put "sold" on pre-ordered UK tanks from his site today, so UK orders need to be confirmed. We have taken a long time to pull this order together
and I fear Ash's window of time to make them immediately may have run out. He is scheduled to give a woodworking teaching course, so worse case scenario is we will have to wait a couple weeks for him before he will have time again to make the US tanks. There aren't that many, so it will go fast when he actually has the time again to make them. I am just grateful he is doing it without the 20 minimum requirement. We came close

I'm going to give a comparison for UK tank prices and shipping and what I can do for you.
Ash charges 61.00 US dollars for his UK tanks (with plain glass tube included) Shipping for a tank to the US is approximately 14.00 so that would be 75.00 total to get one direct from him.
US tanks-50.00 plus 3.00 for shipping. (can ship up to 3 tanks for this price) I also include a pre punched carto
He charges 24.50 in US dollars for his decorated tubes. If you want a decorated tube, you must purchase it in addition to the UK tank with glass tube.
Now, having said that, I can offer a price break on these since he gives me a "group buy" discount. So if you want the UK tank, I can get it for you for 55.00. I can get you the decorated tube for 18.00. Keep in mind you would pay extra for a bedazzle tube, too if you still want to go this route. His partner decorates these by hand.

Thank you Cat for putting that all together...I ordered the most lol, I have an addiction, and the tip I got from Ash my very first one of the two I got the other day it was pink and orange (I guess I like pink and orange together) I broke it I about cried considering how much I paid for it! But it did look like this...
And now it has sharp edges I dropped it on the hard concrete basement floor! I just sat there and looked at it and for the pieces but couldn't find any! I was so disgusted with myself! I just felt my stomach do flip-flops!

I have a question where do we get replacement cartos for our tanks? Since these are made special and come with 1 cartomizer don't they catcat? Just thought I would ask so I could have some on hand and what size do they take and etc...all the other questions you get from a first time buyer lol
jjordan, any standard sized cartomizer will work in the Unique tanks. You can buy them from Ikenvape (superb) and from Boge (also good).

These are XL size and standard resistance 2.7-3.1 ohm. Non flanged.
I'm not quite sure what you mean about the mm threading on a standard US battery. As far as I know, there is no standard in batteries. Could you provide a link that might help us to understand your question? Batteries don't have threading. Devices have connectors, and those connectors have threading that allow one to screw on a "topper" (a heating element). "Standard" for our purposes is, and has for some time been the "510" connector.
The Boge cartomizers will work perfectly in your Unique tank. You will want to opt for the standard size, not the XL. Here is a link:

what a bummer hon. Thanks KD......yes JJ you want standard size prepunched cartos. If you decide to get a decorated tube down the road, the gals tell me XL tubes that melting glass (Kathy) makes will fit the xl cartos with these tanks. But,,,they come with a standard size tube for standard cartos. And the tank is 20 outer diameter (OD) and will fit perfectly on a provari sized tube. I think I have a pic posted with a tank on my provari somewhere around here.
So we DO have time. He is teaching a course for 2 weeks and will then make the tanks. And I am happy I was able to do this for us one more time!
Jjordan - Check with someone else to make sure, but I think we want the FLANGED cartos. The one that you've listed is unflanged.... I'm not sure with the Unique's though.... but better safe than sorry.
Mommay, the flanged are not necessary on a Unique. You certainly CAN use them, but it's not required at all.
