I already have dual coil tubes here...as well as some dual coil cartos in addition to the ones that I use...which are longer....so I should be able to let you know something about how they fit soon.
I like the Aluminus sized tanks the best for a regular carto on my Uniques. But now that we know how to fix the caps all of the Unique sizes will work great, too! A regular sized tank and the Bella are both too short and the carto will stick out the bottom leaving a large gap between the tank and your battery.
Personally I don't care for the XL cartos in a tank. They don't vape as well for me so I've never tried one on a Unique.
The 2 or 3mm is the thickness of the glass. Either one will work.
Hopefully you'll have the dual coil and XL results soon.
Would love it if you could go over that again (the part in bold), for us new to Unique.

The second number is the height of the tube.
For standard sized cartos:
Regular: 29
Unique: 31
Aluminus: 34
For DC Cartos -- 38
For XL Cartos -- 42
All of these are mm. (that non-inch side of a ruler might be helpful)

I usually prefer short tubes too but I just got the terminator tank (has a cheap killer clone atty. Fiddly but works great. Good flavor) and I'm loving it but it's very long ~55mm and it sticks out of the tank. I thought there might be a tube that would let me use it in my unique. There is a genesis tube (47mm) that I have wanted for a while so I'm going to order it as an extra. I'll let you know how it works.

Standard Boges are a 35mm tube, and 40mm counting the threading.
XL Boges are 45mm. They have previously been called XXL size; but as they are the same length barrel 45mm as the XL dual coil carts, they are now called XL for proper reference.
XXL Boges are 45mm tube length, 50mm total length. (see XL above)
Or, according to another site, the XXL are 50.5mm. Whether or not that includes the threading, I am not sure.
Dual coil cartos come in all three sizes (Standard, XL, and XXL)
As if we weren't already a bit confused...

tearose, with regard to the slim tanks, there is no dazzle glass tubes for them. However, I just got some in a dual coil/xl size from Ash. When we first introduced the Uniques last July, the top caps would only accomodate a Unique bedazzle tube and even an Aluminus tube. But more people started requesting longer tubes to hold longer cartos, so Ash adjusted the top caps to allow the switch in carto sizes and I just got some from him in the mail. So what type of tape measure do I want to get mm? The back of mine is cm.Would love it if you could go over that again (the part in bold), for us new to Unique.
I really need to learn how to measure everything.
Ash sent me a Unique tank adjusted for the killer atty. I am under serious pressure the rest of the week preparing for my performances this weekend and then working out of town the following week. I will take time to breathe after that and see how it goes.

If you want to see on a ruler what 31 mm are -- go to 3 centimeters and it's the next tiny line.
It took me being a vaper to learn this.
I may just add an inexpensive caliper to my vape tool chest. They even have digital ones in the $10 or so range at fleabay and ruler type ones for much less. Maybe a tool guy or gal will come in and recommend one.

Back a few pages is a link to a video that shows how to adjust the top cap. Some of the materials used were shrinking more during the drying process and it didn't allow the carto to fit into the top cap. Basically you use a pair of scissors and scrape around the circle until the carto fits.
It happens rarely so you probably don't need to worry about it! But it's nice to know that it is very easy to fix if needed.

I got vape mail!!! Love the pretty pink/fuschia one I got. If anyone else is using the real long cartos...maybe they're calling them xxl...or a phoenix raven carto, bedazzle dual coil tubes are NOT long enough. You will need the xl tubes. I wish she had some that were decorated pretty in that size, but I settled for a frosted plain one.
