I think it is hilarious that you think it would be hard to come up with a universally (safe) juice, but you suggested Casablanca. I love it! ;)

I never thought I would get a response to this thread. It was my hopes to try and have a discussion about what constitutes safe (like you did), or id there's a such thing - and to start a list. Of course many will hate whats on the list, but people are always asking for suggestions (and often times don't really know what they want), so I figured, why not? I wouldn't consider anything menthol, sharp, super sweet, musky, earthy, spicy, or floral to be safe. What do you all think? I actually think Dekang is a bit safe...did I just type that? Dekang?! Yep! I think it is safe. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, though.

I completely agree with your definitions of what is "safe"....thats where my suggestion for BWB "Malty" came from...its got some sweetness, but its mild enough, tons of vapor which I know we all love...and doesn't resemble any specific "flavor" that I can think of anyway.

Same with Enigma from QuickNic...that one is more complex than Malty...but still doesnt scream "sweet" or "spicy", etc...I'm still trying to figure out what it whispers to be honest, because I have NO idea what it tastes like, I jsut know its very satisfying!

Now I just need to try Gandalf...and Mr Mann needs to try Engima! LOL

I have to second Enigma from Quick Nic - I haven't come across anyone yet saying they hate this juice - it seems so well-received by everyone who tries it that I am confident to recommend it as a universal juice. To me it tastes like chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow and a little bit of liquor.... it's a dessert vape but it's an all day vape too.

Another very well received juice is Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble from The Vapor Room. I guess if I see a juice with a lot of rave reviews, to me that is a juice I could easily recommend.

A 3rd "universal" juice - Peacemaker Peppermint from Vapor4life. The BEST peppermint, and I know peppermint juices are fairly popular. More people need to try this one!!

Good choice. That is not to say everyone will like it (I think I am slowly tiring of making that disclaimer) but, it is a SAFE pick! Hey, Ohai ;)

I just read this in the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s/307357-gandolf-heathers-heavenly-vapes.html thread. I second billherbst's question, "What's not to like?" It is truly a hit record, I mean juice...I got to get away from the music parallels!

Just got my sample from Heather's Heavenly Vapes as per your suggestion (thank you :)

So far I have tried 4. I sent Heather an email asking if they needed to steep for a few days - I have been seeing so much about that lately. She said - nope - they are ready to vape.

I am over the moon for Cinful Pear. So, so good and I defy anyone not to like this unless they are completely disgusted by pears. It is smooth and soft - mildly sweet with a fresh pear flavor and just a perfect hint of cinnamon. It tastes completely natural. No weird chemical flavor and not too cloying. Out of all the juices I have tried I am hands down most impressed with this one.

Mayan Apocalypse is kooky but good. It's cocoa with a hit of heat. Does not taste like pepper or chili but hits you in the throat something fierce. Needs to be drawn in very lightly.

Dark Horse : this is my first "tobacco flavor" I have tried after being completely grossed out by the V2 pre-filled cartos.
This is good -mellow, pleasant earthy flavor.

The only one that gets a thumbs down from me is "Blade Runner" which is supposed to be vanilla with a hint of mint. It tastes really weird. It has a strange unpleasant under taste that I just can't describe. But 3 out of 4 is very good and I still have 4 more to try! Thanks so much for the tip! I was beginning to get very discouraged with juice flavors.

Shoot, Mr. Mann, you beat me to my "universal recommendation" in your first post! (Bounty Hunter - :D)

I guess my next recommendation would be for either Darth Vaper's Applewood, or their Vanilla Tobacco. Neither are really "sweet," nor does the (red) apple or vanilla mow you down; and the natural tobacco base Ted uses in these two is a very silky, mellow, slightly woodsy tobacco that I think most vapers could at least enjoy if not down-right love (the way I love them!).

I'm going to second Gandolf. As the initial Guinea Pig of this wonderful flavor, I have supported it ever since. My memories with this juice include vaping while listening to Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" and vaping while watching the entire new Battlestar Galactica series in one week. Yes, those amazing memories associated with the awesomeness of the liquid make it the best.

Hey luce,

It's funny because when I read your review of Huntsman in the Natural Tobacco thread and your impressions on Gandalf http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...p-quality-custom-e-liquids-2.html#post6289680 (post#70) I decided I would do a little bit of research on it...there was NOTHING but your review. Your review was all I had to go on, and I am thankful that you wrote it because it was all the push i needed.

Huntsman and Gandalf are two of the 4 (IMO) powerhouses of their Purity line. Gandalf (Purity) - $5.00 : Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids

My choice for a SAFE bet would be Domestic from Johnson Creek. I have tried a few juices from HHV and I liked all of them specially Heavenly Tobacco. I have not tried Gandalf but considering the rest of their flavors I know I am going to like it if not love it. I have a big order from HHV on its way. Her Heavenly Tobacco is just awesome a lot like Domestic.
My next try is going to be Enigma.

Thanks for reminding me about Enigma. I am also looking into Darth Vapers right now; so this thread has actually provided me with some additional choices. Man, I remember how hard it was just surfing the web for reviews, and looking at vendors sites for reviews and descriptions (which I hated); this forum has mad it so much easier to not pull my hair and wallet out every time I looked into a flavor...what a resource!

I like fruit vapes, and i like mom and pop, hoosierecig, and RAWR, for sure... I don't like tobacco juices, as I have found that tobacco tastes like crap when you could be vaping some fruit-type stuff...Taste is so subjective though, so my opinion may differ from any others, and visa versa. Try a lotta vendors, for sure. Thats part of the fun in ecig's!! The flavors!!

Ok...so I know Gandalf from HHV and Enigma from QuickNic came up a few times in this thread. i just got my bottle of Gandalf, I haven't tried it just yet. BUT...upon taking a few whiffs, i was like "my this is a familiar (and very pleasant) aroma"...I opened up my bottle of Enigma, and sure enough that's what it reminded me of, its VERY similar in smell, IMO anyway. I thought that was pretty funny considering how many times they were both mentioned in this thread.

Has anyone tried them both? Or am I going to be the first? If they actually are similar in taste...we may have all really been on to something in terms of finding some "Universal Juices" on this thread. I'm wondering if maybe its going to be more similar in scent vs. taste, because I don't "think" Enigma is a tobacco juice like Gandalf is...but can't be 100% sure since QuickNic doesn't say what the flavor is comprised of.

Anyhow...that was a mouthful. Just curious if anyone else has in fact tried both, and if you saw any similarities. I'll keep an eye on this thread and report back after giving Gandalf an actual try.

Haven't tried both, but have tried Quick Nic's Enigma, there is no tobacco flavor in it. It's very much a dessert flavor, different people taste different things, but it seems to be a chocolate dessert mixture of sorts. It's delicious. :)

I'm vaping Gandalf right now...really enjoying it! It's almost like a tobacco with the Enigma flavors on top of it. I'm definitely getting a similarity between the two. Enigma isn't very sweet to me....definitely get some chocolate/cocoa hints in there, but not sweet desserty-ness...if that makes sense. :)

When enigma first came out, several people were sent samples and asked to describe what it tasted like and to come up with a name for it too, it was a contest. The name Enigma won because it was hard to describe and the descriptions did vary, some people even said they tasted coffee in it. I think there might be marshmallow and some kind of liqueur flavor in it. I think it's liqueur, marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla, perhaps another flavor too. I think some people thought hazelnut was in it. The guesses as to what flavors were in the mix quite varied lol.
