Universal USB Charger 901/801

First I wanted to say awesome job with the shipping, ordered lastnight received today. Worth it going with a local supplier for sure!

I got a Universal USB Charger 901/801 and was wondering if this thing had a red light on it to tell you a battery isnt charged. Ive put in low 801/901 batteries in it and have only gotten a green light on it. The LEDs on the batteries do flash when inserted so they are getting power. Just curious how you know they are fully charged?

BTW I've only used this with a USB port not with a power supply

ok ignore my last post i Finally got a red light on the charger...so its working ok

The manufacturer tells me batteries need an 8 hour initial charge and 3 hours thereafter. But the red lights usually turn green after about an hour.

I see that, i think the batteries i tried werent fully depleted. It is nice having 1 charger for both types of batteries. I cant wait untill we get into the 4 generation of these things where they may be a little more streamlined and standardized.

You may need to play/giggle it a little. It will stay green until it makes contact. You have to make sure it's pushed in all the way and the spring is holding it in place. It should go red then. That is my experience with it.

I've had problems with it as it will only turn red if the battery is completely dead and its lined up perfectly. I've also found that it doesnt recharge my 801s fully...I thought they died but they do charge on a screw in charger. I dont know i just charge 901 batts on it now and it works fine with them.
