new usb passthru help!

I just recieved my usb passthru with the 510 adaptor. I hurried home and screwed a new 901 atomizer on ( took off 510 adaptor of course) and receiving a blinking green light with the new atty. I put one of the old but working atty's on and it glows red but not heating up the atty hence no vapor.
I've tried several usb ports,different atty's and still no vapor.

what am I doing wrong? faulty pass thru? not enough power out of my usb ports?

I was hoping this pass thru deal would be my at home device and save the batteries for when I'm out and about.

any advice apreciated

I've been getting the same problem.
It worked for about a month with outstanding results, and now the indicator tip just flashes green every time I try to take a puff. If I wiggle the wire and hold it very very still sometimes it will heat up, but sometimes not, so I'm thinking it's a loose connection.
