So I just ordered my first kit to build an unregulated box mod. My question is...dual series or dual parallel and your reason why?

Definitely parallel then. You're familiar with ohms law?I usually build between .15-.3.

Parallel then for sureI usually build between .15-.3.

If you were using a series mech at .15 your lucky to have a face to be honest. Your batts are probably damaged at this point as well. Will it give me the hard hit that I get from my AV stacked 18650 tube mod?

You can find his videos for building unregulated (parallel or series) and regulated(DNA) if you choose.
Parallel - good for complex multi-core fancy builds that are inherently very low resistance where a large amp pool is required.
Series - good for large higher resistance coils and super fast ramp up times.
Series is more efficient because you are not dealing with the issues associated with very high current levels.

That's good to know. You scared me a bit lol. .3 is pushing a bit too. It'd say .34 for series mechs. I build mine around. 5-.6 for a vape I likeI may not be the sharpest room in the shed but I am sharp enough to know that's not kosher. I build about .3 on that. On my regulated devices I run it about .15-.2.

And the .34 is with vtc5a batts

Hb6 are great. 30 amp batts can build low but battery life is short.Lol no worries.
What kind of builds are you doing to get the resistance?
Also, in my tube mod I'm running the LG HB6's.

So I looked at his YouTube channel and it seems all he builds are regulated box mods and mods with PWM. No just strictly unregulated/no electronics mods.

I do mostly fancy wire builds in mine.

That's for my tfv8 rba I put on my pwm mod

That's a .6 for my vcp (series mech)
I did a .4 for my series mech but it was hotter then I like personally
