unsure of issue.

i just got my vamo with a DCT setup ytd.. it was great until about a couple of hours ago.. i notice a drop in terms of the liquid's taste(using apple flavoured liquid) but plenty of vapor&pretty decent throat hit.. is it the carto's issue.? i see from the top, the carto cotton or whatever is coiled around between the outer&inner tube, is still white..

&there's also this weird coffee/burnt taste but i cant pinpoint its origin, as i tried some really strong tasting coffee flavoured liquids ytd from a friend, using my own drip tip.. &its lingered around ever since.. even when i was vaping good flavours frm my apple liquid, there was still this slight hint of coffee/burnt taste..

totally clueless about it..

i've tried blowing out all the liquid in e carto&refilling e tank¬ getting any liquids into e carto.. cleaning&washing e tank&mouth piece itself but not e carto..

Change the carto. My guess its burnt giving u that taste. Whats white outside is only the filler. The actual part that is burnt is deep inside. onces u have a new carto fixed, try open and strip down that failed carto and u'd prob see why.

Aside to that. Whats the resistance on the carto, and what voltage are u vaping it on? Wattage wise some one else can help im lost in watts

Likely your coffee is dark juice? Which means gunking is much faster then normal.

oh yea.. more details.. vaping voltage between 3-4.5, carto is 1.5ohms but reads 2-2.1ohms on e VAMO..

&no, only thing tt was shared between e coffee & apple flavours was e plastic drip tip..vaped e coffee on my friend's carto, which almost killed me

i've actually also dropped the Vamo twice alr.. not sure whether tt'll matter as it tasted fine even after e drops.. but for full disclosure..

Was looking at your recent pic. The drip tip can be used on different carto. So no reason u need additional.

Once tank dry, remove carto, use another and put tip on it and voila?

Do you have a multimeter? Use it to see if the Vamo is reading the resistance correctly. Sometimes the manufacturers label their stuff wrongly.

Maybe your Vamo is telling you to change your carto.

If it does have a burnt taste and it doesn't seem to be going away, you've probably fried the carto. Once that occurs, the burnt taste is always going to be there. If the problem persists just pop in a new one.

ok, so i've switched out e carto.. even had to punch my own holes in em.. vaping's better again.. but a new issue has evolved.. i get intermittent vapor production.. here's an example:-

i take equal 10draws separately with mayb a couple of seconds or mins in between.. 4draws will be nice, smooth with plenty of taste&vapor.. another 2draws will be a lil rough, still with taste but visibly lesser vapor.. while e another 2draws, i can feel e vapor in my mouth, when i inhale e vapor, i feel it but eventually no vapor production&e remaining draws, i get choked on it..

wld like to add, this only happens when i use higher ohm cartos.. on my 1.5ohm cartos, everything's pretty good, vapor production is crazy.. but when i tried 2 or more ohm cartos, i get e above, even after playing around with various voltage settings.. happened couple days ago when i was trying out a friend's setup..he used 2or2.5ohm cartos.. &currently now as i gave a 2ohm carto a shot..

what gives man.? am i doing smth wrong.? this is pretty frustrating, i must admit.. urgh!

am really happy right now. hit 3milestones in a week. &e vamo really helped. if not, i might've just gone back to analogs:-

1) havent bought analogs since i started vaping.
2) tried a analog ytd, tasted quite disgusting, i didnt finish it.
3) went drinking w/o analogs!

Finally came in today 4hrs trying to set it up but still cant i dun understand where is d negative and positive point and also how to wrap in in the centre besides d mesh.. 3attempts all fail it read as atomizer short on my evic..
