i'm gettin this error every time i move off the main page to a thread. I'm using IE. anyway to fix it?

No idea what does this. It seems to be a local issue as no one else has reported it.

Please try another browser such as Opera (the fastest browser currently) or Firefox (has the best toolset), as your PC security will also improve.

If you are forced to use IE at work then all I can suggest is backup your personal details (passwords, bookmarks), then delete all stored data in the browser (cache etc), run Ccleaner to delete junk files, cookies and persistent/deep cookies, then try to update IE.

i will try that on both pc's(both have the same issue). in the mean time i did download firefox. I did use Ccleaner, but to no avail. but i didn't do the delete the stored data first....

It's a problem all IE users are getting, and Firefox too... it's an error in the forum's Javascript.

Opera and Chrome are your friend.... IE is your worst enemy... FireFox is that guy you see all the time but never talk to, could be useful but you're not really sure how.

What rational control over scripts do you have with opera?

IE: I use no-script in FireFox.

No problem. A friend of mine works for Opera so he is always telling me about the crazy stuff it does. There are more articles on their help page about Script controls. Definitely check it out. It's a really great browser...

I'd like to know what script is causing this issue but it's hard to pin down if we can't replicate it.

Not sure how to fix it, because of this. If one of our staff had the issue we could try to get to the bottom of it - but it might take an hour or two on Skype for our vBulletin guy to sort it, we can't ask someone who is not on the team to go through that.
