up down buttons

One odd thing about this vamo; even if I turn the lcd display off, pressing either of the up down buttons still turns on the display and still changes the wattage....


wierd; so easy to accidentally keep changing the wattage.


Or am I missing something?

I was told it was a vamo 3; the box itself just says vamo; the box was not sealed;

the top cap can unscrew off
it has both 510 threads and eGo threads

It may be the Vamo 5.

I wouldn't know without a picture. But on the V5 I know I can turn off the screen through the menu but it will still change voltage/wattage with the up/down buttons. Turning off the screen just means that the screen will not light up when you press the fire button.

I have found that when I am vaping low wattage (3), I sometimes accidentally press the button again, and end up searing my throat with 15.

Yes that is exactly what happens! It's annoying. To easy to accidentally change the power or voltage.

was going to comment that the only way to turn it off was to take out the bat; then i guess the brain finally kicked it; turn it off the same way you turned it on: 5 presses; NOW the up/down buttons stop don't work. Ok; that's workable. Actually much easier than the zmax; that one i have to press 3 ; watch screen .. wait; choose off; wait.
