Hello all :)

Said I'd be back with an update from my previous thread so here goes:

1. Tanks. Originally I had the Atlantis which after a short while I started to not like the flavour so I switched out for a Kanger subtank on some recommendations. Wow. What a load of rubbish that was. Kanger subtank mini v2. Looks cool but IMO, is well over-rated. It leaks, the rebuilable coils don't produce great flavour, though the clouds are ok I suppose and its generally nowhere near as good build quality as the Atlantis!

I got the new v2 Atlantis coils with organic cotton and wow what a difference. This is what I should have done in the first place! (I've now given the Kanger subtank mini v2 away) I love the Atlantis so much I've only gone and purchased the Atlantis V2 :) V2 tank is better than the original. Dual airflow is cool, and I like the fact you can switch the bases over. Top airflow is great for vaping at higher wattages as really helps keep the vape nice and cool. A lot of people on YouTube complain about the size of the drip tip but I actually like it. Either way, the Atlantis V1 or V2 with the V2 coils are the bomb! Only good thing about the Kanger was the fact you could rebuild the coils, but like I said above, the taste is just not as good as the Atlantis, doesnt even come close.

2. DIY ejuice. Ok this is a bit of a pain. I've been making my own ejuice for the last month or so, and I'm not sure if its the supplier I ordered from (Prob as they were the cheapest by far over here in the UK) but its always a chemical horrible taste. They re-bottle the concentrates (Using TFA atm) and I get the feeling they have tampered with them somehow. When making a PG/VG mix on its own without anything else, it tastes fine (By fine, I mean non-chemical) but as soon as I add concentrates in, even in small percentages.... yuck!! I've tried various steeping methods and its always the same result. I've now ordered some concentrates from elsewhere to see if this is indeed the problem and will post back in due course.

Anyway, I now have to take my dog to the vets for his op :( so will be back later with more....

I love this forum. Great place to be, find useful info etc. Sorry for the rushed post (It's a good thing I can touch type!!)

For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum. Lots of great info in all the "stickies". Below is the information I often give to members new to DIY.
  • Dannyv45's blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice. => dannyv45 - Blogs
  • Hoosier's blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives. =>Hoosier - Blogs
  • For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp

Funny how people have totally different experiences with hardware. I love my kanger subtank mini, It never leaks on me and i get AMAZING flavor from it. That being said there are some flavors i really like with a lung hitter and some i find are better in a MTL. For example absolute cream brulee from Nicoticket i really like in my Kayfun or Minidrip but i dont like it at all in my subtank.

Hey all,

Sorry for the rushed post yesterday. First of all, thank you very much to
@ReigntheGamer - He's out now and recovering quickly :)

As for the DIY e juice... I had tried various breathing/steeping methods with always the same results. Yesterday afternoon a package turned up for me with some more concentrates but this time from a different supplier. (Still TFA/Capella etc but from elsewhere) Having tried a quick batch I made, there's a huge difference. Sweet, and non-chemical. Hate to say it, but seems the first UK supplier I ordered from has done something to their concentrates as the difference is too big in terms of quality. Much happier with the new 2nd supplier and wont ever be going back to the 1st, ever.

Thanks to everyone else who has posted above, esp re the DIY ejuices. Will try to respond better later. This is another rushed post I'm afraid.
