I bought a used Indulgence from the classifieds, seller said only had it two months. But I am seeing signsof major use, staining in the extended cap, oxidation/staining on the adapters...and the version is the single cone with removable adapters. When did the new version take the place of this one?

There have been 3 updates since that first version,
The updates were started about a year ago now.
the first upgrade was with single cap and separate bullet adapters for the attys,
the second upgrade was back to the all in one caps again,
and now the Ver2 Indulgence hAs the all in one caps and adapters, and it comes only in the Titanium color.

so I think the answer to your question is ---
about 7 months ago the change went back from the single cap and bullet atty adapters
back to the single all in one caps with attached atty adapters.

so it has been out there for many months, -
but in fairness, the seller may have only used it for 2 months and put it away till he resold it to you.

Ok, I'm seriously confused. Are the 18650 and CR123 extended cups the same? Because these look like three different sizes to me. I'm going to get a full setup, all the extra goodies, and I've heard that the CR123s don't fit quite right in the extended cup. The existence of two different extended cups would make this all a lot more... sensical.

when first introduced the battery cups were all different sizes to fit the 3 different modes of battery combinations

now I am told that the extended cups for the 18650, and the 2 batteries for the 6V combination are the same size.

what you are showing here is the older model indulgence with the end cap and the bullett adapters

the new Ver of Indulgence had the endcaps and adapters all in one piece,
so you get several fully fitted out endcaps with it.

The current version of the Indulgence is --- Ver2.

There is 2 Size Extended Cups .

There is One Color.

It uses 3 sets of Batteries - for performance at 2 different Levels.
1 x 18350 batteries which gives 3.7Volts
1 x 18650 batteries which gives 3.7Volts

2 x 16340 batteries which gives 6 volts

There is also available as an optional extra ----
a USB Passthru for Indulgence,

this passthru is an addition that goes with the original purchase set
You must have the original starter set
to use the button section and the atty caps.

The passthru runs at 5 Volts
I reccomend that you use the passthru with a self powered hub,
NOT plugged into your computer USB plugs.

You're welcome - we actually covered this kind of thing on Monday over at vapourtrails.tv | ...... putting u back into vapor ......

Hifistud, do you still stand by your initial review of the Indulgence? I hope it's not like the one with the Bauway super-Ego that looks like somebody's perverted d*ld* that you had to admit was disappointing.

A bit off topic, but I have watched VTTV since it started and I've recorded every one of them in my hard drive. Good advice and reviews all around. I would suggest whole heartedly for any newbies to watch VTTV all the way from the first episode. Keep up the good work to you and the VTTV team. BTW, I'm the one that keeps giving newbie comments on the VT site. Cheers
