Upgrade Time??

Hi, I have been a member for quite some time and enjoy popping by to read up, but I have decided to post a question as with the wealth of variables available at the moment I am totally unsure as to what direction I want or need to go in.
I currently have a Vamo not sure waht version it is, VVVW anyhow, and an Innokin Itsaste with clearo's.
I have been happy using these so far, however, I find the Vamo uses more battery life for the same output as the iTaste, although I prefer the innokin as it seems a smoother vape. My innokin has a fire button problem(had for some time now), and I have finally decided to upgrade from both if these.

Now I do say upgrade, and by that I mean I have been happy with the vape I have had especially from the itaste, but I would like more of a throat hit and more vapour.
I am currently mixing my own juice which is great and suits my taste just fine, but I just feel let down now by the mods.
I haven't got an endless wallet so it has to be cost effective(not saying cheap), and I am a little put off by the rebuildable's as I don't have any knowledge or experience with them and I need to use the mod during the day and of an evening, so something not too big is preferable.

I would welcome any suggestions and points you guys may have that can help.

The iStick line are small, ergonomic, have good battery life, and can support a wide range of atomizers. I'd suggest the 30 watt or 50 watt versions.

I don't see the 30 watt in stock there right now.

Something like an Aspire Nautilus might be a nice upgrade from a clearomizer. Atlantis/SubTank if you want a lot more vapor.

Which iTaste product do you currently have? Maybe there is a reason you prefer this to the Vamo. (sorry if I've missed the obvious...)

if you want a box, I'd be tempted to suggest 30w or 50w iStick, but there are others... MVP 3.0 (30w) is great but quite large!!

You may be on a hiding to nothing searching for more throat hit. I've not experienced much for months, maybe a year. Most people are looking for more power to get back some of the "lost" hit, but I'm not playing the power game...

+1 on the iStick 30watt and mini Nautilus (or regular sized Nautilus). The sub-ohm tank are great as well BUT your juice will disappear before your very eyes.

Thanks for the reply, just wondering how an istick would fair up to larger tanks, as I use the iclear 30's and similar which I find better for me as I don't have to fill so much during the day. I have a few of the larger tanks!
Something like an MVP(example) would look a bit daft with that on top as it's flat design and I think a fair bit thinner than the tank, correct me if I'm wrong.

For the specification, I would buy an MVP 30w tomorrow...... but it's too big for work ... so I can't see me getting one.

I think both the iStick 50 and 30 are 23 mm, so should look good with most tanks.

Susan, do I need to go sub ohm? I can't quite get my head around this. Let's say I go istick, will that comfortably run 2ohm and go sub ohm, I am really not sure?

iStick 50: 0.2-5.0 Ohm 5-50 Watts

So both can subohm, more so on the 50. Also both can fire regular cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, etc...very flexible.

Just want to say, I've been vaping for over five years, and I really think the Kanger Sub Tank mini (as well as the regular and nano) are game changers!

I'm sure the Delta II and Atlantis, two other sub-ohm tanks, work as well, but I'm familiar with the Sub Tank mini and love it (I have the nano as well)

It comes with a standard coil, at 1.2 ohms, as well as a point 5 ohm head, so you can start off vaping at 1.2ohm, then try the .5 ohm when you're ready to give sub ohm vapping a try! Even includes a rebuildable base, so if down the road you want to give building coils a try, you're already set with a base!

Sub ohm vapping uses a LOT of battery power. I've also recently picked up the IStick 50w, which has a 4400mah battery and lasts two days, even when I'm sub ohm vaping! It's a great combo, that, when fully charged and filled, can be used all day but isn't very bulky or heavy to carry around in a shirt pocket!

The MVP 3.0 also has fantastic reviews, and a battery nearly as large, at (I believe) 3800 mah, but it is a heavier device. Well built, though, and you can use it to charge your cell phone when out and about.

IStick 50w is reasonably priced at or below $50!

Me and some AAEC folk were thinking about a vape meet in Wrexham, but never set it up. I expect you'll have made a decision by then....

Once my 20w blue iStick (the first one...) gives up working, I'm going for the 50w in a similar blue (edit) from Myepack, probably.

Eleaf has done a bang up job on this device!

They added a spring 510 connector (I believe the 20w didn't have one), got rid of the rattle in the power button, moved the micro usb port to the side of the device instead of locating it on the bottom, requiring people to lay the device on it's side when charging, added the ability to lock the power settings....

That's not all they've added! GREAT device, feels fantastic in the hand and lasts forever (well, two and a half to three days at 25 watts!)

Yeah, I also like this blue color!
