also whats your take on the longer 1000mAh ego battery. I'm thinking about it...
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo-T

Well I ain't sailorman but thought I oughta chime in here. Looked at your link & it looks like they're asking about $100 for that eGo; I'd rather have this, & save fifty bucks: SLB KGO Starter Kit Or maybe this: http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag...color_plus.tpl&product_id=1014&category_id=34 I dunno, different strokes I suppose... but I can't see shelling out a C-note for a PV that's regulated down to 3.4 volts. I put my batteries back *on* the charger when they drain down to around 3.7 volts, but whatever works....

Best of luck, & Happy vaping! :vapor:

Sorry if it seems like I'm highjacking your thread man. I figured we have the same questions though. It's crazy how friendly people are on ECF. every other forum I'm on has such a clicky thing. they totally attack noobs. here its like hey welcome to the family!

Yes & BTW guys, Welcome to the family! Seriously, we're all in the same boat, just with different lengths of time on board. Some folks have been here a good long while, and others (like me) are still getting our feet wet. It takes what it takes, but we pretty much all cheer each other on & help where we can. Vaping is a wonderful option that simply didn't exist just a few years ago, and it's something we can celebrate together! :D

oops I should have clarified. Just the 1000mAh battery $22.49 since I already have a bunch of ego stuff.

Oh I gotcha, that's not so bad then. Still I'd probably shop around; you might find a 1100mAh KGO battery cheaper, and I'm pretty sure the fittings (including the cone threads) are the same as the eGo. I know they have standard 510 battery threads. That is, unless you *prefer* to have a regulated, lower voltage battery. Thing is, everything has limits; a lot of the fun is finding ways to work around the limits of what we have (at least that's always been true for me). If I can't fix it I'll try to figure out how to *make it work*. :)

Freaking awesome. That really cleared it up. Thanks for that. Now I know what to look for.

thanks for the excellent info! I wish I had known about that kgo, or even sweetvapes, when I got my ego-t. that looks like a killer deal. I think I'll spend some time asking and lurking on here til know exactly what vv I want. if I'm gonna soend money I might as well get something I can grow into. I'm sure there will be some votes for the provari. dang they want a lot for that though.

If you're thinking of a VV, try to resist the Provangelists for a few months. The sub-$100 VV market is going through a revolution. Even now, you can get a $90 VV that does 95% of what a Provai can do and does some things better. The difference is in reliability and build quality, but that's improving every day. The Chinese are going full bore and when they get the few remaining kinks worked out, it'll be prime-time to upgrade. If anyone doubts it, remember all the issues that the first eGos had. Now, nobody ever criticizes it for being unreliable or falling apart. It's just not powerful enough and they keep insisting on hanging gimmicks on the end of it. But the basic unit is cheap and reliable.

Yeah definitely. I replaced the stock atty and tank within a week. the ego-t setup had me tired of dry hit wicking problems and the constant need for cleaning. the mega dual coil carto has been good so has a j-tank/standard resistance boge. but like Warren pointed out 3.4 regulated isn't doing it for me anymore.

Ya know I haven't tried the EMDCC carto because I figured they would be the same as the XL dual coil cartos I had tried with my Kgo and was really disappointed with. (double the suck!) ;)

Then I tried the 1.7 ohm Smoktech ressurectors and Oh yeah! what a difference!
With my Kgo, I am producing the most watts my Dekang e-juice can handle.
Occasionally if I overfill a bit I have noticed some of the juice has darkened. I don't think I am burning it since it still tastes good, but I bet if I hit it with a more volts than what I've got it would get ugly!

If you haven't tried them you should...

Yes indeed, at 3.7 (or so) volts the Smoktech 1.7 Ohm XL cartos really cook! Note however, they are Single Coil cartos, not DCs, so you don't get the double-suck effect sailorman mentioned. Also note, if you have a DCC tank designed for the Smoktech XL DC cartos these Single Coil 1.7 Ohm will fit right in, just make sure they're punched for a tank.

Happy Vaping! :vapor:

i used the ego t and loved it for a long time ,started getting frustrated with it so i bought a dct and it was like a breath of fresh air you might wanna try them they are a cheap upgrade at least it was for me
I got a few 3ml DCT chinese made and they suck.. Leaking and the hole in the carto is too small. I had to use my dremel to make it a bit bigger. It worked well for a few hours and then the juice got into the air tube and that's it. I tried to blow the juice out and lost almost all juice. Refilled it - and it's dead. no air flaw anymore.. I understand that most of suppliers care the chinese made product, but WHERE CAN I FINALLY GET good AMERICAN made DCT? I'm visiting a lot of web stores, but I can not figure out which ones is not chinese. The good ones I see - it all sold out.. Please help!

Oh.. I use eGo VV on 4.2 V if that matters..
