Hi Everyone,

I upgraded from Blu (yeah . . I'm one of those people as well) to the joyetech 510.
I enjoy the 510 . . . but I'm looking to upgrade overall.
The Joy 510 has 3.7 volts and is not a tank system . . . but a drip.

I've been looking around the forum (great stuff!) and have found these possibilities:

Kanger eVod system
eGo Spinner vv kit (1100 mAh battery)
eGo C Twist kit

Do these seem like an upgrade to my joyetech 510?
Or are these considered about the same thing as my JoyeTech 510?

If you have any other suggestions on upgrades to my 510, I'd like to hear them!

I've found this forum to be very informative and full of folks who love to help other!
Thanks to all!

Over at STLVapor they have the MVP if you want a box type APV. IIRC is was about $67 with a iClear30

It has voltage adjustment and its compatible with several types of threading. It also has crazy long battery life 2600mah but the battery is not listed as replaceable. The new MVP2 should be available soon but i imagine they will no be cheap. It will also include watts, ohms and setting volts via RMS.

The New Innokin VV/VW V3 has a small battery 800mah but IIRC it has a USB pass through. It also is multi thread compatible IIRC. The kit comes with 5? iClear16s and everything you need except juice. STLVapor in Hazelwood will likely give you a small bottle with the purchase if i give you my customer ID#.

Send me a instant message if you want more info about STL area shops. Ive been to a few.

Variable is the next obvious upgrade. But variable watt is a better option than variable volt as it is closer to "set & forget". I would also consider the amp limit on your next PV. Twists/spinners have a weak 2.5 amp switch which limits what you can use on them The variable watt iTaste V3 is smaller than the twist/spinner and has a 3.5 amp switch, which is a plus. And it's on sale:

One of the ego batteries with variable voltage options or the Innokin iTaste MVP mod would be excellent upgrades.

Ego is a "class" of battery, not a brand name. Preferred manufacturers would be Joytech or Vision. I'm not sure if Evod makes a variable voltage option.

The MVP is a variable voltage mod which has a built-in rechargeable battery which can last up to 3 days between charges. The newest model has a built-in ohm meter which is conveniet to check the resistance of your juice devices. It is very pocket-worthy for out of the house. It can also be used as a pass through - you can continue to vape while it charges.

So the above choices depend upon your preference between a long tube-form factor, or a box-form factor with extremely long battery life.

Save yourself some time and expense and go directly to a vv or vv vw. a vamo 3, Lavatube, Innokin SVd, MPV, VTR, or Provari, Because eventually, that is what you'll end up with. I went from V2's->ego 1300ma->Provari. Wishing I had skipped the first few steps, though back up is good, right? lmao. now I'm spending money on genesis and rba mods. Heck what I spent on the V2's would have paid for the mods. Do some research, check out the reviews on YouTube, and then make a decision.
