Hi All,
its been 4 months I quit cigarettes and thanks to ECF, I started with Joyetech EGO AIO D22 XL and has been quite satisfying, I was very happy with it but now I want to upgrade to little more advanced one. ideally I prefer a mod with a built-in battery, since I don't have to worry about batteries exploding or take care of them, and I want a mod in which the setting are very simple, like if I need more vapor I can just increase or decrease one setting without worrying how it will effect other settings, not sure if it makes sense. I have seen many videos where people talk about wattage, voltage, temperature, TCR and many things so since I don't know much about them, I don't want to worry about what happens if I change one setting and how it will effect other or anything. I thought of using my current EGO till July but today I noticed some liquid overflowed out of the tank and into the batter, I blowed it dry and charged it as well, seems to work fine so can I still use it. also I would like to keep it between $40-50 for device including tank for new device.

Actually, that is a common myth. The internal built-in batteries, being Li-Po chemistry, are more likely to flame or explode than the removable external "safer chemistry" IMR batteries which are designed to merely vent gas.

Forgot to recommend a mod, charger, and batteries. You don't have to order from MVS, I just provided links so that you can get an idea of what the items look like.

Nearly all regulated mods will offer Temp. Control; that doesn't mean you have to use that feature. If you ever should somehow get into the wrong setting, you can always look on YouTube to learn how to get into the setting you want. In fact, its a great idea to watch a video review/demo of any mod prior to buying it.

Joye Exceed Box Starter Kit, about $40.
Eleaf Istick Kiya starter kit about $45.
Eleaf Invoke starter kit about $50,this is direct lung.
It would help a lot if we knew your preference, mtl or dl?

MTL is my preference but also need it to be compatible for DL. do DL devices produce more vapor than MTL ones?

Suggest a variable wattage mod with internal battery and a non sub ohm tank. I like the Eleaf Istick 40TCw, mine's been working great for two years. Not an expert on tanks so you might want to shop around.

I recommend Geek Vape Aegis. I received it couple days ago and I absolutely love it. You can put on it any tank be it MTL or DTL. Aegis is not only beautiful... it is relatively very small but... not too small like iStick Pico... when you hold it you got impression it is molded to your hand... it is not cold and slippery like most other mods I have...but if for some reason it will slip out from your hand or from your pocket into concrete floor you will get maybe some scratch but it will work fine... with Aegis you do not have to worry about e-liquid spilling... if it ever happen (and it happens for most people sooner or later) you can wash it the same as you wash your coffee mug... it is waterproof so even if you drop it into your bathtub ;) you will wipe it with towel replace tank and keep vaping on... It has all bells & whistles other mods have... maximum wattage is 100 watts so if you want occasionally puff huge clouds you willbe able to... for $43 IMHO it is a steal... An Aspire Zelos kit. Small, internal battery (so USB charge) and the 50 watt version (should still be around some places) is wattage only so you don't have to worry about temperature control all you will adjust is the wattage. The 75 watt version does have TC, if you think you want to try it out down the road, but it's probably not the most accurate TC of all time, so given what you are vaping now, well, you should e fine with the 50 watt kit. Could search for it on vapecrawler.com, that should give you some ideas of (decent, if not the utterly lowest) pricing, from both US and China vendors. Comes with the Nautilus 2 tank. Should be a fairly hassle free step up, and it comes with a 1.8 coil and a 0.7 coil, and you will be able to adjust your wattage.

Best of luck,

Anna

As always, a +1 on Anna's Zelos recommendation. Comes with the Nautilus 2 tank, which uses the popular BVC coil. Easy to use, and great for MTL'ers quitting. It's what I used. And the mod is a tough as nails, small pocketable size, simple to use, and more than enough power to get thru the day with hundreds of mtl hits. Never had one issue with it. I don't use the N2 tank anymore, since I build my own coils now. But I still use the mod, and it's great for wattage control. I have the 50W, and it does do Temp Control, but poorly. 50W would be enough to get you started in cloud chasing if you go that route, I guess - but you'd eventually want more power, and most internal battery devices won't provide much more than 80W I don't think.

Aspire has been around for a long time, and has a good reputation with their products, so you wouldn't go wrong with this one.
