Hi all,

Firstly apologies if i'm in the wrong section.

So been off the real things for around 3 months or so (my sig below will give exact time) and have manged to drop from 18mg to currently 12mg and over the next few months i'll drop to a 6mg.

Current Setup: Aspire CF VV Twist - Kanger VOCC Organic Cotton 1.8ohm coils with a Kanger Mini Pro tank 3.

I have done a fair bit of research on the istick 50w / Coolfire 4 & Kanger Subox and everything points towards the Coolfire 4 in all but the battery life but i'm ok with that, it has to be an improvement on the VV Twist i'm currently using. The fact the Coolfire IMO looks nicer than the others and comes in Red is another key factor.

The Coils: Which coils will go with the Coolfire 4? I'm not one for any of that subohm stuff and i'm not one for wicking my own coils. I am aware of the benefits but i'd much rather just have them ready made and preferably wick-less (the new cotton type ones) and would be happy to stick with my 1.8ohms if they are compatible, if not what would be the way to go? I will be vaping with 50/50.

The Tank: My current Kanger Mini Pro Tank 3 has been OK but with me vaping about 4-4.5ml per day and capacity being 1.5ml I would much prefer something larger but not too large it looks daft on the Coolfire 4.

Thanks for taking the time to read and any and all input is appreciated. Hoping this will be my last set up before i'm nicotine for good! After my 6mg I'll probably do a month or 2 on 0mg just to ease myself out of the habit completely.

Thanks,

Adam

All I can say is skip the Subox Mini, unless you love chipped paint and are determined to remove the battery and place it in a dedicated charging bay. And are willing to take out the battery housing to push up the non-spring 510 connector after it stops connecting with tanks :/ also overpriced!

That said, I still love the vocc coils in a T3D tank, still not the capacity to meet your daily usage, but they are cheap enough you could buy two and are easy to refill.

No real experience here, I am getting the CoolFire4 for Christmas from my daughter and her boyfriend, but I plan to use my Evod Glass tank with 1.5 to 1.8 ohm dual coils. Right now, my daughter and I are enjoying our Evod 650 mah batteries with the Evod Glass, but my daughter has heard me often enough when my beloved New York Rangers make the Stanley Cup Playoffs complain that I am chain vaping so much that my batteries have a hard time keeping up. This year, she decided to do something about that, and got me the CoolFire, something I have been thinking about and talking about for a while. Now all I need is for the Rangers not to blow it - again.
