Hello guys

I'm a new member to the site, I've been vaping for a year now, was smoking the odd ... here and there, now it's been three months fags free!!

I enjoy vaping more than what I did smoking, I vape fruity flavours and I don't smell like an ashtray anymore

My kit is really simple, I've been using Vgo2 Manual Switch Variable Voltage 650mah Batteries with Rebuildable Nova Metal tanks Vgo2 with 1.8 ohm coils ( jac vapour) After doing some research on the web I drilled bigger air flow holes on my tanks to get more vape out of them and I was well surprised with the amount of vapour I got out of them.

I feel the need to upgrade myself to something bigger, more powerful and the most important of all with more amount of vapour!!

Been looking at vv vw telescopic mods, the one that has caught my eye the most is the KSD Kmax, and as a tank atomiser the Prometheus rda, or something similar with adjustable airflow (probably 2 tanks as I like to change flavour now and again without the need to finish the tank in order to change flavour).
I'll be purchasing the mod, tanks, batteries, charger, coils, resistances....
My budget is set to £100 more or less, 160 USD.

I was thinking to get all my new gear from the Ft website, they seem to have lots of stuff there and also they offer free postage but will check other sites if you can guide me to the right ones.

Can you guys give me some advice??

Thanks in advance

i have a regulated mod called an MVP 2.0 and it's bee working great for me, i've really been liking it. it has 2600 Mah and i think its about 70 or 80 dollars american i couldn't tell you which rda is good because i haven't tried them but with your budget of 160 USD you should have plenty left over for at least one or two adjustable airflow RDAs

Instead of the kmax, have a look at the vamos; 15 watts is last year;
https://www.fasttech.com/products/3032/10009229/1930901
this year, there are 20, 30 and 40 watt vamos.
Another reputable mod to look at is the sigelei.
There's supposed to be an SVD2 out this year.

The Prometheus is a genesis type; the more popular design nowadays is the kayfun style, and there are a few innovations attempting to improve on the kayfun; lemo, bellow, erl...kin,

The Eleaf istick is definitely portable and powerful. Combined with a Nautilus or Nautilus mini with BVC coils it makes an excellent system. One caution, some people have had 510 thread stripping problems. Using the 510 to Ego adapter seems to reduce the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFl0LIJHxqE

Welcome :)

I would love to be in your shoes. So much great stuff out there at the moment.

I am not a fan of JacVapour, so would be happy to see you upgrade... well, that's an understatement actually.

My Vamo V5 is a KSD version and whilst not 100% has not let me down in a year. However, working on the theory that the Kmax has a similar 'chip' in it, I don't think I'd recommend it. It's cheap, but they don't tend to push out the full 15w which seems irrelevant until you want to use a really good RDA atomizer, or run a mini Nautilus at full whack. My iStick absolutely kills my Vamo for power.... it really does.

FT do some great dual coil RBAs (Orchid) and clone single-coil atomizers (Kayfun and Taifun GT).... any of these would be great.

This info is so cool Edyle, thanks for sharing it with us.
To be honest with you I was also looking at the vamo in the first place but I did like more the look of the Kmax, will be listening to you and go for a vamo, provably the v6 vv vw.
As for the RBA or RTA (lol) will have to look more into depth, right now I now I'll go for the vamo, I'm also sorting the batteries out, IMR protected think will be the best after what I've been reading.
I'm stuck reading and reading all the info from the link you posted, so much interesting stuff there man!!
Will let you know what I get.

Thanks again

I was just checking out this... https://www.fasttech.com/products/1823602 Though it's a box, not a tube as you mentioned. The aforementioned Vamo also looks good, but I'd read the reviews first.

and this... https://www.fasttech.com/products/1844108

already have one of these... https://www.fasttech.com/products/1700500 and love it.

I've been really happy with this charger... https://www.fasttech.com/products/1765201

I'd buy the batteries locally, so as not to further delay the shipping times, though FT has tons if you decide to go that route.

I don't like the Kanthal I got from FT, so I'd grab that locally as well.

All that stuff should keep you within your budget with pocket change to spare.

Or you could break the bank and get this instead... https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011165/1918100-authentic-sigelei-100w-variable-wattage-apv-box

Have fun. :)

Consider dripping! I resisted for some time because I thought it would be unneccessarily complicated, but a hit off a box mod with cotton wick changed everything. The intensity of flavor and vapor production can't be beat. And building is fun! As a bonus, it's so simple to pull out the cotton, burn clean the coils, and re- wick.

^^^^^^^^^
Ditto that;
And I say that not because of flavor etc, but because it turns out, 'dripping' isn't anywhere more complicated than lighting another cigarette.
They way I pack my 30mm magma with cotton, I can chain vape at 10 watts for a half hour to an hour before I need to add some more liquid.
