i thought the dna 200 boards were all blue..? how'd you get yours to the orange red color?

Its special its my own gadget edition

just took the front cover off and added a red filter just a bit of clear plastic with a red clearcoat tint

different tints would prob give other shades i hear someone else has one with a purple screen yellow over the natural blue would prob give a nice green also

I just like the orange red because all my other mods are all the usual blue

What colors would combine to have a pink screen?

Hey everybody, I've been lurking for a few months and doing a lot of research, and I'm finally ready to take a leap of faith to the big boy mods. Several of my friends got off smoking through their cheap mods all the way to a guy who builds on a Snow Wolf 200w.

I've been vaping really low, like 20w to be entirely honest. I know there will be some people screaming "Don't go from 20w to 200w! It needs to be gradual!" And I do understand the concerns and risks, but I'd rather make a single significant investment that will cost less in the long run than several upgrades just to make myself feel safe.

Now that that's out of the way, I'm looking into starting Kanthol builds, not sure of the size or thickness yet, that will be at a later planning stage. Probably will invest in a decent RDA to put on the mod, I like the flavor far better on an RDA than on a RTA or strictly clearomizer setup.

That being said, my primary query is What is your personal opinion on excellent quality 200w mods?

I understand that's very broad, so let me lay down some criteria.

-200w is tentative. But I really don't want to go below 150w. It's not a necessity right now, but I'm planning on keeping this mod for the forseeable future, a future containing more complicated and high-drain builds. Just keep that in mind!

- Temperature control quality is not my main concern. I'm not planning on doing hardcore nickel and titanium builds right now, so the excellence of the temperature control is not really an issue.

- Battery life is very important. I'm planning on vaping at 75-100w regularly, so I need something with batteries that will last at least a day.

To summarize, I don't need a fancy DNA 200 Prototype that costs $500, with all the bells and whistles money can buy, I just need something that can handle some tinkering with power and such.

I've looked at the Snow Wolf, it's quite large and heavy, but does what it's supposed to. Maybe something a little smaller and sleeker. I really liked the LavaBox DNA 200, but it's battery life left something to be desired.

I know this is very broad, but I really just need a list by someone who's got more experience, telling me the main features of their favorite high-wattage devices.

Price isn't necessarily an issue, but please, keep the price range grounded in reality!

If you need any other info, let me know!

Thanks folks!

There should be no concerns or risks if you stick to a regulated mod.

I went for the Kbox 200w....maily because it's cheap, simple, small and has all the options I need.....I must add I am mostly a tootle puffer, so didn't want to invest too much.....just needed 1 high power device in case I want to experiment in the future..and with the sale on FT it was only $32......

We love the Sieglei Fuchai 200w we have. Considering a 2nd, or the RX200. We only use the fuchai at about 70-80w. Battery lasts a while but we don't use it all day. I use a istick 50w at work, the fuchai stays in my car or at home. My local shop carries both the fuchai and rx200 for $50-60.
