So I want to get a 1.21 jigawatts mod. Any body know which ego model can do that.

In all seriousness though I am in a market for a new mod and I am wanting something with TC and 200 watts. Also around $200 max. Also I don't want it to be too big, the snow wolf is a nice size it seems. I'm upgrading from a sigelei 75w TC. So far the only 200w device that I have used is my friends Snow wolf 1.5. I really like it and all but I want to know what would be the best all around 200w device whether it be a dna 200 or sx350j device. Also if you do suggest a device please add why you think its a great device. It could also be a device that isn't out yet but will be in a few months or so as its going to be a personal Christmas present.

Also can someone explain why some of the 200w devices have li-pos battery with only 900-1200 mAh. That just seems really low to me for anything other than an ego style bettery. Or do I just not understand li-pos?

Oh and why do some of these mods only build down to .1 ohm some even .3 ohms. I mean using nickel that is really hard to get doing a dual coil that isn't a ridiculous amount of wraps. I really don't like to do more than 8 or so wraps maybe 10 at most or else I start having trouble making it fit without touching the sidewalls of the atty and shorting.

I know it's a long post and I'm sorry to ask these kinda questions. Normally I can do my own research and decide for myself but it always seems like there's a new mod around the corner or an issue arises with one I was eyeballing and it's hard to keep up.

So... are you saying it's better to get a mod that takes 18650's? I mean it's not like I'm going to be doing 200 watts every puff but it'll be nice to have the power at my disposal when I want it. And I thought that's why they were using li-pis is because the can do 200 watts whereas two 18650s can't really except for pulsing like the snow wolf does when it's above 150 watts.

No, it's better not to buy into the high power hype...

@roxynoodle: Yeah alot of the bods with li-pos were saying that the had 3 cell li-pos in series but I just found the low mAh rating kinda crazy. I mean I guess it follows the rule of high amps low mAh or vice versa but that's crazy to me.

I also saw the sigelei 200 w. I don't know if I can look past that screen though. It's pretty gaudy. The features look nice on it though

I am happy with my Ipv3 li. Solidly built, feels more robust but not quite as ergonomic as the 4s, battery door doesn't fall off, easy to use and upgradable. If I lost it tomorrow I would run out and buy another one. That is my litmus test of whether or not I like a device enough or should look for something better.

No. A 3S lipo rated at 900mah will be equivalent to an 18650 with 2700mah

mAh ratings for LiPo's are per cell, so a 1000mAh 3S LiPo contains three 1000mAh cells.

Anyways, I'd personally go with an sx chip mod or a snow wolf and avoid the DNA200. I do understand the appeal of the DNA, however, I'm more of a simple, grab-and-go type vaper, and I don't like the idea of having to connect to and fiddle with a computer to access features that, IMHO, should be changeable on the mod itself. Again, just my personal opinion.

Well i for whatever reason, I can't figure out how to quote you guys. I'm using my phone so I'm sure that has something to do with it but anyways...

@Vapor jam.
My friend has the snow wolf and we trade kinda share our mods so I have used it a bit. I mean I like it. I think it's sex as he'll especially the royal edition with a gold and black royal hunter (I mean it would only make since to have royalty on royalty). And the buttons are absolutely perfect to me. And I really do love it but I find that the temperature control is a little iffy compared to my sigelei 75 which seems backwards. And I want a device that can actually handle 200w without the PWM. I mean it's an interesting feature and keeps the vape from getting too hot but I could just get a afc drip tip to cool the vape if I needed it to be cooler. But I mean I do get where your coming from. As I have been doing research on the dna 200 I hear alot of people being apprehensive due to the issues with the dna 40 which I personally have never had one so I couldn't say either way.

@roxynoodle.
That reuleaux or whatever is quite nice looking indeed. I really would prefer to use 18650s instead of getting a lipo because I already have plenty of them as well as a 2 amp charger that is awesome. I think unless I could somehow get the hobo dna 200 that might be a winner. I really like the feel of zinc oxide so I think that is really nice and the shape of it looks like it will fit in the hand very well.

So several of you guys have said get a sx chip but besides the reputation evolv had with the dna 40 chip that may or may not mean the dna 200 chip will have QC issues why are you saying to get the sx over the dna200?

Well, it could be the complete opposite for you, but for me, the DNA200 just doesn't fit the way I like to vape. Obviously, it's a more powerful chip with more features, the problem I have is that you have to fiddle to get the most out of it. I much prefer something with fewer but more elegantly implemented features, at least in terms of my nicotine delivery.

This may be an extreme example, but I think of comparing the DNA chip to the SX chip as similar to comparing Windows to Apple OS back in the day. No doubt Windows was a more powerful system with (potentially) much greater functionality, but I don't want to have to manually configure every single setting just to play a couple games and putz around on the internet.
