Hey guys,

So after relapsing and smoking cigarettes again, I decided to upgrade my ego battery to a vv one, after some search and taking your suggestions into account I think the eleaf istick 30w would be best for my nautilus Mini, if anyone has such a setup please tell me if this purchase is a good idea.
Anyway, since I have no idea how to operate this type of device, is it a good idea to buy one ? Apart from the enhanced battery life I really can't understand the differences as a rather inexperienced vaper.

I don't personally own an I stick but have many regulated devices, you will be fine with that device and it should suit your needs nicely. As for operating it you can find all kinds of videos online to help you through the menu and features of your device. Once you get into your new device and dial in your vape, you will not look back at regular cigs again, I haven't:D

That is a popular and recommended setup to start out with nowadays.

Yes it is a good idea to buy one.

Operation should be easy.

One of the most important differences compared to your ego battery is you have a screen that will give you information which becomes important when something goes wrong instead of you scratching your head and going back to cigarettes.

Why not get the Eleaf iStick 50w that just went on sale? People have been anxiously waiting for this...I just ordered the complete kit last night for $55. It includes a USB charger, and a Wall charger. The 50w has better features for only about $10 more than the 30w. I do think you're going in the right direction, though.

I vaped exclusively on regulated mods for almost a year, having used an istick side by side to my DNA mods, the istick 30 would be a great combo with your nautilus,
If you start looking at other mods; however ,ale sure they can fore at least down to a 0.5 ohm resistance and have a minimum of 30w max, that will let you try other toppers n the future and provide you with some head room.
Just saying from my experience,
The istick 50w is an additional 20 bucks but might be another option with a 4400mah battery and a 50w output the additional headroom may come in handy down the road,

I do not yet own an istick, but I do have the new Istick 50 currently on it's way to me in the mail. I have experience with many different mods, and can say that in my opinion the istick's abilities are great for both newbies, and experienced vapors alike. I went from Egos,to older style vv/vw devices, to mech mods. Now that these vv/vw devices can fire at such low resistances, I have no use for the mech anymore. Also, with the istick, you don't need to screw around with batteries since it has an internal 2200 mah. The istick 50 has a 4400 mah! Even if you don't need to go up to 30 watts now, or down to sub ohm, you may want to some day and the istick gives you room to grow. My only suggestion would possibly be to consider the 50 watt if for no other reason, Battery Life! 4400 mah is a BEAST, and the 50 Watt is not much more than the 30. I got mine for $44.99 at VaporDNA with coupon code JOE10. Nothing wrong with the 30 though especially if you want it to be real small. Even though the 50 is still tiny for a 50 watt mod. I believe you will be very happy with the istick.

I get 1.5-2.0 days from the 2,200 iStick 20w.

The 4,400 would do me 3 days, maybe 4...
I would agree, I have a DNA 20 I can get several days out of with a 2200 mah battery. I use an older SVD at work and puff on it for 14 hours a night or so and don't change batteries but once a week.

How long will the 30w last ?

It should last most people 12 hours to 2 days, depending on how high you turn it up and how frequently you vape it.

The iStick is very simple to operate. Look on YouTube at review videos, they usually show how to operate it.

This guy shows the basic operation:

I would suggest you use it in wattage mode and start at 6 or 8 watts. Then slowly increase the wattage to your liking. I wouldn't go above about 15 watts on a Nautilus tank.
