The istick 30W has a 2200 mAH (milliamperehour) battery capacity, so a full charge on it would last half as long as a fully charged 50W...when vaping at the same Wattage.
Perhaps a supplier with lesser shipping will soon appear... The 50W is just getting to the market.
The 50watt istick is 4400 mAH; I just ordered one last night. It's only $10 more than the 30watt, and what I really like about it is the very much improved settings.
I plan on using both a Kanger Subtank Mini, and an Aerotank with the iStick. Also, since the 50watt iStick is a little bigger, the larger tanks sit very nicely atop it. I think the 30w is nice too, but I'm really enjoying SubOhm vaping. I think 50w is enough, though some people get the 100w devices.
I have a 20w then upgraded to 50w had a mini nautilus with the 20w switched to kanger subtank with the 50w also wife got me a delta 2 for vday. the mod is awesome I would recommend you get a subohm tank too though. Flavor on the delta and subtank just blow the nautilus away.

I'm vaping with a Kanger Subtank Mini right now; I currently have an Aspire CF SubOhm battery, which I really love. But, I've been waiting on the 50w istick to go on sale for several months. I saw someone inquire about shipping, and where I purchased mine does charge shipping. I just saw a thread were someone bought one with free shipping, but it takes a month to ship. I only paid $5 for shipping, bringing the entire 50watt iStick kit up to $60...not bad.
