Ok so i just bought some gear to diy some juices and 8mg Virginia from my preferred supplier but im currently on 11mg...if they sold 11mg id have bought that to tide me over until I've perfected diy-ing...but i really don't feel ready to drop to 8mg yet as 11mg is tough...

So, my question is, can/should i increase the nic in my 8mg juice? If its 70/30 and i want to hypothetically make 5ml of the new juice, could someone please send me a juicemeup recipe card or tell me the exact ml of nic id need to add, please?x

You cannot add more nicotine without diluting the flavor, but the higher the concentration of the nicotine you add, the less you would have to dilute. You might also order extra flavor to offset this if your vendor offers it.

To calculate, take your original mg and ml, add up the total nic and volume and divide/reduce to get mg/ml. So, if you have 20 ml of 11mg/ml juice, and you add in 10 ml of 50 mg/ml nicotine, you now have (20*11) + (10*50) mg of nicotine across 30 ml of juice, for 720 mg in 30 ml, or 24 mg per ml, but with only 2/3 of the original flavor.

There are lots of calculators online you can use to verify your results, and if this is not natural math for you, definitely use them.

The ability to boost nic and preserve flavor is theoretically one reason why I keep around 100mg/ml spill-me-and-die juice, but in practice I don't really tend to mess with nic levels; I find flavor is a way more important component of the experience to me .

i think you may be better off ordering the flavors you like in higher strength and diluting it with pg or vg and flavorings to get the level you want if you want to try this. Also many vendors offer "flavor shots" so perhaps ordering with the max flavor shots would help your flavor when you do dilute it. Using a concentrated nicotine like 100mg or 75 an extra drop or two in a smaller bottle on accident could mean a lot higher than expected nic level. because that's what were talking about, 1 or two drops of high level to adjust what you want.

I do not know a lot about DIY but to knock down 100mg to 8-12 into a sample size bottle i would be surprised if vendors used more than 2-3 drops.
