I decided to try and make a bottom feeder. After making one that crapped out and wasn't that great, I went for a second try, but in a 2xAA box this time. Here it is:
I don't care for LEDs and I don't like the great big hole you have to jam your thumb through to squeeze the bottle. I stole the little round plastic button off a madvapes flashlight and mounted it on a piece of tape inside so when you push it, it squeezes the bottle.
Plus, I didn't like the fact that you pushed juice UP into the atty. I decided to use the nipple instead of the lid for a mount, since it is pretty drip-proof when you pop the bottle onto it. Then I cut the downpipe even with the bottom of the drip tip. So, you turn it UPSIDE DOWN, and gently press the button - it drips right onto the screen. VOILA'
Works fantastic - well at least it has for a couple of hours so far.
Here's an inside shot of it. Notice that the tab of the switch makes contact with the positive end of battery. One less wire to solder.
