Ebay has been hacked, and is asking all customers to change their passwords, just seen it on the news this morning. Protect yourselves guys.

I've been on ebay for the last 8 years and so far have never had any problems. The only thing I hate is that the sellers fees went up.

Yea, i have had no trouble at all myself but they announced they were victims of "cyberattack" and the information server NOT the finincial server has been compromised. Better safe than sorry imo.

I changed mine but with everything I sold I owe eBay money so my account suspended.

I meant to post about this the other day... I received an alert on my phone 3 days ago about it and notified all of my friends to change their passwords. Basically somebody got ahold of an ebay employee's password or something and somehow accessed the database thus compromising everybody's data.

They've still not contacted me but changed my password last week after hearing the story on NPR.
