Urgent question for those who use up to 100mg nic base!

Some of you might be aware that Mitch Zeller of the FDA, in a speech just a couple months ago, is intending to, and I quote, "ban or restrict ... the allowable levels of compounds, ingredients and substances in the finished product delivered to the end-user"...

In other words, the FDA is coming after your higher-strength nic base!

Obviously current -- and future -- DIY'ers will be affected should these regulations pass..

Sure, you can stock up enough nic base ahead of time that should last you and your vaping loved ones a lifetime.. However, over the months & years, things can & do happen which will either severely degrade or even cause your stored-up nic base to become completely unusable.. And then what do you do?

Not to mention, of course, how the lack of inexpensive & available higher-strength nic base will prevent future DIY'ers from enjoying the same DIY experience & opportunity that you have personally enjoyed all this time...


So my question to you is, have you submitted a quick & easy comment yet to the FDA at www.regulations.gov which talks about how banning or restricting higher-strength nic base would affect you & others who share that similar DIY passion? Explaining how you take extra safety measures when it comes to the handling & storage (fib a little if you have to ), and how you promote these same precautions when interested others inquire about such? How the perceived dangers of higher-strength nic base portrayed in the media & in other comments submitted to the FDA are intentionally & falsely exaggerated?

The FDA needs to hear your side of the story -- you know, the truth..

And for folk living in other countries, the FDA site does not restrict comments from you as well, so tell them what you think. Any FDA ruling against Ecigs would have an impact on the industry worldwide. I know that it would influence Canadian policy on the matter almost assuredly.

Of course I've commented. The club I'm a part of has been commenting too. By law they have to read every comment, so maybe there is an outside chance we can sway a FDA worker. It's a very outside chance, but it doesn't cost anything but a few minutes of time to add your voice.

I was surprised how easy the actual submission process is. If people are not commenting because they think it will be a big hassle, it is not. Assuming you have already written a comment you can paste into the box, the whole process takes about 2-3 minutes (less if you have a fast internet connection).

Also, if anyone is afraid they don't write well enough or don't have something important to say, that is also not true. As long as what you write is not deliberately offensive (aka trolling), every voice counts.

I posted a comment the day they opened the deeming regs and essentially and politely said that theyd be giving not obly an industry a death sentence but millions of people who have been vaping for years now as it would force a lot of us back to smoking and keep potential vapers from ever making the switch

Starting to Dislike 3 letter identifications

Did My Submission a week ago. See NO Value in it. Not because people do not care or support our rights. Simply because Very small groups of individuals really do control world order.

Yes, I have a Plan.
It started at 18mg.
Is now at 3mg.
Soon to be 1.5mg.
Then -0- = 0mg
Then I will pass the remaining quantity of 100mg/ml to my son if needed.

The fight I fight is for those that have not yet had the chance I have, to Choose to save themselves.
