Have you tried using it?
Have you tried shoving the silver ring back in?
What make is it?

It's a 510. From the look of it, I might have stripped it? This is my guess. I didn't wanna ruin the batt totally so I don't think I'ma try sticking it back in, however I just cleaned everything (gently this time) and hooked it all back up and it works..for now (it just tastes metallic, I hope I'm not getting any kinda batt fluilds). I even tried comparing the two batts I own, and I can't tell the difference, of course those are tiny connections.

Here's a pics of what I mean.

Also: I just ordered another atty & batt as backup just in case.

Now, that is odd.

I had to go pull out a stock battery for a 510 (I hardly use them anymore, use mods).

I can't tell much by your picture, but my guess is it was something out of your charger (or PCC maybe?) that came loose with it the last time you charged your battery?

Might want to get a back up charger (it is good to have a few around, just in case). A USB charger is cheap (and comes in handy with a USB plug adapter in your car for emergency charging).

If it is new, contact your supplier? Check to see what their warranty period is first... not much to do about it if it is out of warranty.

I'd keep an eye on it. If you don't see any difference in that and your other batteries under magnification, and everything continues to charge ok, I wouldn't worry about it.

It kind of looks like the washer I've seen in a couple of 510 battaries. If it is, you should be able to put it back and use it without a problem.

Alright, I'll try and put it back in to see if that helps and also puchase another charger. I'm just worried that a loose piece of wire like that could cause more problems.
