I'm waiting on my first kits to arrive... have gotten slightly antsy... Was hoping to get them by tomorrow but its seemingly less and less likely to happen.

When it comes down to it, the suppliers have provided all the necessary confirmation, recipes, etc... now it's just a matter of the courier updating their trackers and completing the deliveries.

I've put in three separate order to three separate suppliers.

All of them seem to be showing this:

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Electronic Shipping Info Received FORT WORTH TX 76126
05/06/09 7:21pm
Electronic Shipping
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Electronic Shipping Info Received PORT ARTHUR TX 77640
05/06/09 8:22pm
Electronic Shipping
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Electronic Shipping Info Received BRADENTON FL 34209
05/07/09 12:23am
Electronic Shipping
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having to wait for the courier to update their trackers and visiting their site really kills me.

Now I've personally been on both the shipping & receiving end of USPS services and so I've noticed that sometimes they don't even bother with updating the trackers. I've had items shipped to me that had little to no tracking information updates. Has this happened to any others?

I'm eager mostly because there's a chance I won't be home on Saturday, and I'm not even sure if they deliver on weekends.

So far as i know USPS updates tracking info at night..

The tracking info is pretty poor. I've never had good luck with it, most times I receive the package while the status is still "shipping info received"

I'm on the East coast and usually my orders from Florida come on the 2nd day after shipment.

Oh man, I'm really hoping your not giving me false hope. I'm in Queens, NY and tomorrow would actually be constituted as day 3 so hopefully I'll get it by then. I won't be home on Saturday so if I'm lucky I can be vaping outdoors by that time.

USPS does not have tracking, they have delivery comfirmation. You dont get a tracking #, you get a delivery comfirmation #. With that being said, that delivery comf # isnt for tracking your package, it is just to confirm delivery. Just some insight from an ex usps empolyee :)

ER!? really? man I feel like an idiot now. I've been staring at their site for a status update for last 2 days... But I could almost swear I've used that same site to track orders from Amazon in the past... maybe I've gotten things mixed up. I know the courier is definitely USPS though.

I'm so upset! I've been keeping an eye on my package I've been waiting on from ecigsupply (a DSE901 - my second PV!) and have been watching it like a hawk since Chad sent the tracking info to me, but so I go to check today and, lo and behold, it's saying that it was delivered!

But... I already went to get the mail today and there was no package for me! Our mailbox is small, so if there's anything that doesn't fit in the mailbox, they usually stick it under our carport somewhere, where it's easily found. So the mailbox was a no-go, same thing for the carport (and I looked all around)!

I emailed Chad to see if he can help - I really do want that 901, but I don't know what could have happened to it! Needless to say, I'm very confused and annoyed and bummed. :(

Hey squirrel, that Port Arthur package must've come from me. Just FYI, you get the delivery confirmation number as soon as we print out a label. The package actually leaves typically around 8am in the morning.

LOL, hey praga your a regular Matlock you know!?
Of course you are indeed correct. And thanks for the explanation.

I haven't made any attempts to contact the suppliers regarding my orders because it's only been 48hrs and in all honesty if the item's been shipped it's in the courier's hands now.

As for my order with esmokershop.com, I'm not entirely too concerned it was mostly e-liquids. I'm looking forward to trying them and all(since I've heard great things about them). But I'm really looking forward to the M401 & the Titan kits, since I've yet to vape for the first time.

I'm guessing your bet is probably going to come true... It's about 3:26pm, no package yet. It's too bad, I was kinda hoping to vape tonight once the batteries got charged.

Sometimes I just wish I could drive over to the pick-up center in NY and just grab my items and go. I've found in the past my house is usually the last stop of their delivery routes.

Btw, Houdini are you a magician in Vegas?

Yeah, I'm a magician with only one trick. I can make hundreds of dollars disappear very quick at a casino. :D

That trick is probably too advanced for me. What I have managed to do is replicate that same trick on a smaller scale... I walk into "Olympic Gardens" with a full pocket of $1 bills. I walk out and they are completely gone... along with my dignity.:D

Well, I gave a call to my PO (or at least the USPS office) and they said they'll look into it for me. Still no word from Chad, yet, though, either. :(

Just following up about my problem. So, I get an email from Chad, saying 'call me at [Arizona phone number]' - nothing else, just that. So I do call and all he tells me, essentially, is - it's not our fault, go to the post office and make sure it's not there and then we'll see what can be done, but I can't send you out a replacement and if the PO lost it, then they're supposed to reimburse you.

Needless to say, considering that's $70 of my money, that wasn't what I was hoping to hear - especially since I don't want reimbursement for the lost order (provided I can even prove that the USPS lost it), I want my freaking order! Neither was the 'you go to the post office and do our jobs for us' ****, either.

Not happy and definitely not ordering from ecigsupply ever again. What bull****.

paisley,

If you dont get your package I advise that you keep checking that delivery comf # for the next couple of weeks just to make sure it dont go back to Chad. Also I dont think the USPS is obligated to refund you for a lost package like Chad said unless it was insured. Dont lose hope yet :) maybe everything will work out. Keep us posted if anything happens

Yes, this is very common with USPS. Sometimes they update it, other times it shows up in my mail box without any online updates at all....

Paisleyplatypus I think you’re overly excited. Calm down and take a deep breath. Give it till Monday sometimes USPS just screws up. These is why a lot of vendors refuse to ship to PO Boxes nine times out ten it’s always a problem. I had USPS tracking showing delivered and actually get delivered the following day. I hope you get Monday. Ice199

Best way to make somebody who's annoyed even more annoyed is to tell them they're overexcited and that they need to calm down. :grr:

My order was showing as delivered on the 7th, so I should have - going by your theory - received it on Friday the 8th. Which I didn't.

The order was not shipping to a PO box. It was our actual, direct mailbox.

Jayhawks - As far as I know, the package wasn't insured. I'm still so irritated by the conversation with Chad on the phone that I have half a mind to just send the freaking thing back (if they do wind up locating it) and just order from another company.
