Hey guys,

i travel in a few hrs to Germany for a few weeks. I packed everything and than a question came up. It might be a stupid question. Will my US charger work on a German outlet? I remember that my German David hasslehoff hair dryer "blew up" once I plugged it into a US outlet.

Or would I just be better of buying one in Germany?

thank you guys.

It will not work at all! I went to Germany, Britain, and Italy. Don't try and force it in there either lol (no 'that's what she said jokes...'). An adapter will work just fine, no need to buy a new charger! I wouldn't think they are too hard to find out there, if you have time while still in the US, you can get an adapter at most convenience stores.

Confirm that your power adapters are "dual Voltage" switching power supplies
It should list values in the super small writing and look like this: NOTE: Input values are a range...(If it only lists 110V; EU voltage will cook it)

A simple EU adapter is all that is needed.
