Many thanks for all the accolades. You folks left some great comments. Thanks for sharing your story. It really does help. It lets the editors know that the writer isn't the only person passionate about the subject It also lets the readers know that a lot of people share the viewpoint of the writer.

Also just to point out to those here who may not know....

The USA Today organization provides the following for those who may feel the need:

" ..To report corrections and clarifications, contact Reader Editor Brent Jones at 1 800 872 7073 or e-mail accuracy@ usatoday.com. Please indicate whether you're responding to content online or in the newspaper. "

Just as apparently others were, I too was rather miffed and offended by the several inaccurate statements and bogus innuendos that were made in the original USA-Today article. -

I say -> The more willing we are to take the couple minutes required to fire back our staunch objections (to such sloppy and irresponsible work) - then the quality of reporting should rise to a higher standard in the provision of similar "news" from firms like USA-Today. God knows it desperately needs some degree of elevation. (((But then again... I suffer from incorrigible idealism and grossly altruistic notions. )))

Thank you Elaine. - I too appreciate your effort in speaking up for the sake of accuracy & truth!
