Will this work with my usb pass through that I'll recieve tomorrow?
2400 mah output with a 5v output
I think it will!!! Great ratings too!
DealExtreme: $13.83 Rechargeable USB Emergency Power Backup Pack 2400mAh

btw, output is limited to 450mah but that shouldn't be a problem with an ecig ;-)

Wrong-o. I have one that is 700mA, it lights the led but doesn't heat the atomizer enough. I've read that 1A is the minimum... and unfortunately not many manufacturers say what the output is.

The highest I found so far is 500mah at dealextreme
So what is the output required for a dse901 passthrough?
Did you say that the minimum was 1000mah output?
I suppose that would make sense............sorta

I've tried both a 901 pass-through and a pen-style to same effect. I found one that is actually 1.5A output, but it's sticker shock... runs around $55 shipped.

Sounds pretty cool but I guess I'm not as active as I put myself out to be, I work inside my apartment and generally spend about 8 hours a day on the computer workwise + recreational. Regular 901 Battery's should be sufficient on a Friday night no?

Kgone......I know there are a couple of other threads here that focus on usb battery packs....The one I purchased on e-bay really "fires up"my 901 passthrough....sorry I don't have the link(guess i should save it for future posts),the user I purchased it from was "Styletechgroup".It was about $40 shipped......but a great investment...one 6 hour charge lasts me about 2 weeks worth of vaping..and I use it every day!:)The Wiz!

Rita......I just ordered a passthrough from David Yang that works off the usb and has an internal battery supply with it.If you can get by with the cord hanging from your mouth....it might make another great "backup" for you on Fridays! $15 not a bad deal..no battery pack required! Check it out!:)The Wiz!

$50 min order though... so if you like, I'll go in on an order with you.

Wiz--an output of 3000 mA would blow your atomizer up--you are confusing mA with mAh. mA is output and mAh is lifespan --the mA needs to be 1000mA --the mAh can be as low as 300--------Sun
Sun......Might be 1000 then......Groggy from a rotten night at work.....this sucker does crank though(wish I had the energy to look for the link)...will have to post it tommorrow! The wiz!

Wiz --if it is like mine, then I am sure it is 3000mAh--but that only means we do not have to charge as often. As for the passthough to work you need 1000mA--(not mAh)--everybody got it? Do not waste your money unless the specs are clear and you understand mA from mAh---Sun
