I'm looking at getting this battery pack to use in conjunction with a USB passthrough:
Portable Power Supplies - USB Li-Ion Battery Pack

It seems pretty good with an alleged 3400mAh capacity (this sounds too good to be true to be honest given its size, my laptop battery is only 2200mAh IIRC).

Anyway, my question is not about the capacity but the maximum output which is rated as 700mA. I've noticed that for USB mains adaptors, everyone says 1000mAh is required (although I suspect my laptop is only giving me 500mAh since the passthough via the laptop produces less vapor than a battery; it's okay but less.)

Any advice appreciated, will this worth do you think?

Kitabz, Yes It Works Well!

I have the same one I picked from one of my vendors.

It does work well & it has a 5 year legitimate warranty, I can vouch for it.

I can pick them up wholesale, but I have to pick up a dozen or so. If you want one u can PM for the price on Monday (I have to call in an order anyways).

Sorry I just notice your not in USA, I only ship & sell to the USA.

But I know the manufacturer of the Battery Pack, it is made well and I have been using mine for months. Its also comes with several cell phone adapters, so most likely there is an adapter for your cell phone included, but check the list of connectors. Another good thing is you can just plug your usb directly into it.

So if the price is right grab it!
