USB car adapter charger

I was looking to get one of these for my car USB Variable Voltage Mini Passthrough - Chrome and the only USB car adapter I can find is rated at 5 watts I think...It says 5.0 equals 800 mah. The vendor I was going to get it from said I needed to have one that rated at least 1 amp but it doesn't say on the charger how many amps that it is.

Does anyone know what kind of USB charger I need to make this work in the car?

You want something that can push at least 2 amps on one port

I use the same one on my commute to work to save batteries, I just wish the cord was a little longer...

So if it says on the output 5 volt would that be enough?

no...gotta have enough amperage to run the vaping rig...some of them only put out 500mA, not enough to run a vape

5vdc is the standard voltage, but you need amperage to do the "work" for vaping

I was looking in Walmart and they has some Cig to USB connectors for dirt cheap that came in a few colors. They are 5V/1 amp output.
I think it was $3

So what volts should I look for? A lot of the charger doesn't state how many amps just the volts.

I have one in my car on a 1 amp cig lighter duel adapter and it works fine. I got a duel one so my wife and I both had a port. I got mine at radio shack. YMMV

A USB connector will always be 5 volts out. The current and voltage is required to be printed for both input and output if it is a UL listed device.

I got that one for 5.58 from FT. works good but cord is a bit short. it's like 75 cm long.

How far back do you sit in the car? you may need a usb car plug and a usb extender if you sit far back and are a tall person
