USB charger for kamry x6 doesn't fit?

Hi guys and gals, I have a kamry x6 battery and the usb charger it came with has started to go dodgy so I bought a new one today but when I got home I noticed that it doesn't work with my battery.
On closer inspection I can see that the terminal on the original charger protrudes from the end and the new I've bought the terminal sits lower and therefore can't reach the terminal on the battery in order to charge it.

Which type of charger do I need or is there a modification I can do to this new one to make it work?

I don't own an X6 so not too sure which way a proper connector should look, but if the charger you bought is specified for use with the Kamery X6, best bet is to take it back to the vendor. It should be covered as a DOA defective, and they should know what a proper connector should look like..

The charger is a universal type and the only one they stock. I did show him my battery and he said it will fit so I didn't even think to try it there and then.

From your picture, it does appear the center post is a bit more recessed than the chargers I have used for eGo type batteries. Looking at the pictures of the X6, the top eGo/510 connector seems to be more recessed, and might require a longer charger connector.

You may be relegated to finding an authentic charger, or buying a second X6 kit that comes with a new charger.
