USB Charger - how long to charge a battery?

I've got the USB charger plugged into one of my USB ports. I've had a battery screwed in for around 3.5 hours. How long does it usually take to charge a battery from a fully depleted state (LED blinked)?

Does the red LED on the charger do anything to indicate that the battery is fully charged, or does it just stay lit red all the time?

The light acts differnt on differnt models of the pack. Is your shinny or glossy?

Red LED? If its fairly new, I think when its charging the clear USB plug lights up blue. When its done charging the light goes out. It should take maybe an hour and a half.

Mine turns green when it is finished, under two hours.

I was talking about that charger too. Chefduece has the older kind with the green light which works the opposite of mine with the blue light.

So it does change color then?? I had mine plugged in for 4 hours and it never changed color... when I first plug the charger in, it looks kinda green/yellow and flashes a few times then turns red. Is this the older style? I just bought it recently.

That looks to be the same as mine.
When I plug it in the battery blinks a few times, but that doesn't always mean that it is screwed in properly. When the battery is done the light on the side turns green (maybe yellow I'm sorta color blind) Try plugging it in over night and see if the color changes by morning.

Hmm, ok.. I've got another battery in it right now, it's been 5 hours, no change. I wonder why Garnoch's turns blue? I'd rather have that color...

But, so far it doesn't give me an indication at all which is pretty annoying. I suppose I can let it go overnight.. I just don't want it to overcharge.

If it doesn't change colors, then it might be a bad charger.

The blue light goes out when its charged. I got it from Tony with my initial order, so I'm not sure why its not listed on the site except that he must not have any at the moment.

Ah, ok.

Well in any case, there seems to be something wrong with my charger. Everyone who has one of these (even other model/brand owners) all say the light changes color to indicate the charging is complete. I had one battery plugged in for 8 hours and the light stayed red the whole time.

I'm just waiting to see what Tony says about it. I'd like to send it in for a replacement along with my faulty atomizer.

I don't seem to be having much luck so far...

Mine looks like yours but the light is blue and it hasn't changed. It didn't charge my battery even after leaving it plugged in over night, so I don't know if it's the charger that's bad or the battery. Probably the charger since I vaped with the battery until it ran down.

Hey Tony if you're reading this thread, can I send mine back to you with the atty? Also if its possible to get the one with a blue led instead, that'd be awesome.. long as it isn't a bad batch of chargers or somethin....

Yes, but without that indication it could very well mean it keeps charging.. without a cutoff, that can be potentially dangerous (overcharging a li-ion cell).

I really don't want to risk setting my house on fire.

EDIT: now the LED is flickering.... (no battery screwed in)
