Madvapes also has 5v 510 passthroughs. I love mine so far. I'm getting better throat hits, flavor, and vapor from these passthroughs than from my two eGos (1000mah), which I've been disappointed with lately (when comparing the eGos to the passthroughs, that is). The eGos haven't been good for constant vaping. It seems when they are used for a few drags, they need to sit for awhile to cool down before they'll work like they should again.

Several posters here have mentioned that the .5 amps from the computer's USB port isn't enough to power the passthroughs. They have recommended the adapters at Madvapes. I was having problems with the three Volcano Magma passthroughs I started out with using the computer's USB ports. They worked sometimes and didn't work sometimes...it was like a hit or miss. Those three passthroughs all died in less than three weeks and will be replaced by Volcano (received one replacement today). I received and started using the Madvapes adapters and 5v passthroughs on Thursday, and they have worked every single time I've taken a puff. That wasn't the case when I was using the computer's USB ports and the cheaper-quality Volcano passthroughs.

One more note: The replacement passthroughs from Volcano are of much better quality than those I received in September. It's a one-piece cord and passthrough (instead of two pieces), manual (with a button) instead of automatic, the cord is longer, and the battery threaded end seems to be more sturdy. I believe they will work fine this time, as long as I plug them into the 2amp AC adapters and not into the computers. But when I need to buy more passthroughs, I'll buy the 5V 510s from Madvapes.

Mine is plugged into my laptop as we speak and has always worked awesome. I believe this is a power supply issue/usb type issue. A newer laptop with a 300 watt power supply has more than enough oomph to power a pass through. That being said I do need to order an ac connector for it if there is even a chance it could effect my baby negatively.

It's better to plug passthroughs into a 2amp AC to USB wall adapter. Then they will work every time and not just part of the time -- and no worries about ruining your computer motherboard. Got mine at Madvapes.com.

I have a AC to USB wall adapter that is 1.2 amps will that be enough?
Thanks
