I don't know which type of passthrough you have but for the most part I have found your statement to be true. I think most PTs run at higher voltages (electronics folks will help you with the nitty gritty details - beyond my IQ level) and therefor burn more juice. I know I plow through juice tons faster on my passthrough. I deal with it though because I just love my PT!!!!

Noticed my juice is going down a lot faster since I got this, does it vape more, or is it a case of me being more prone to toke on it because I'm not watching out for battery life?

Just a-wondering...

.

510 PT here, but I used to have a 901. I don't think I get as thick a vapor with my 510 PT and I don't seem to be able to vape as long with the same number of drops compared to the battery. But when I using the battery, I can vape, put it down and not pick it up for an hour or so. With the PT, I add juice as soon as it runs drip. Is it "chain" vaping if you don't have a chain? Just a little back cord? I reduce my consumption by posting a reply every now and again, because it requires both hands to type, so I can give the little devil stick a rest.

I just got an 801 PT. I measured it at 5V. When you unplug it from the USB it stops working.

Some PT's have a battery inline, on the cord. The battery will act as a resistor to keep the PT at the voltage of the battery (I assume 3.7). This type should keep working even when you unplug the PT from the USB.

Higher voltage = more vape = more juice required

I need to add a disclaimer to my avatar, I'm a guy, I just selected it cuz I liked it (well, liked the chick on it, she is hot and she makes smoking look cool & sexy!) :D.

Cheers for the answers though, my PT is one of the in-line battery ones, I've definitely seen my juice go down since getting it though, I don't think I've increased my vaping that much since I got it.

I'm very new to e-smoking too. Only been vaping for...12 days..

I don't use the USB pass thru too much, but me and my boyfriend purchased one to share, and he spends a lot of his time on the computer. He smokes, erm, vapes, a lot less than i do, and has used a significant amount more liquid in the past week and a half than i have, so i can only assume it does use more liquid.

I've noticed the pass thru gives stronger hits, so that might have something to do with it?
