I just finally received mine. When it's plugged in & attached to atom/cartridge, is it suppose to be heating up the atomizer constantly? I hooked it up after it charged a bit, and I heard it sizzling because the atom. is staying on & it's staying heated even when I'm not dragging on it.

Monkey--No--it should not be doing that. It should work just like your batteries and sounds like the switch is getting stuck on. Is it a manual switch or an auto switch passthough?--Sun

I don't think pluging into wall outlet is a good idea. I tryed my pass through like yours with it connected to my kenningston battery pack while it was charging and it did the same thing. It works fine on the K battery pack when it is not charging.

You know what, you're right. I just plugged into my computer and it's fine.
Annoying because I had hoped I could "plug" myself in downstairs without a computer, and use it in the car because I have a standard outlet in my car too.

And they really need to make this thing longer!! I don't have usb jacks in front of my computer. Only in the back.

Thanks Taz!

Monkey --just check around for any USB battery back or car cig lighter USB that outputs 5v 1000mh and that will work fine--most of us have them---Sun

Monkeylurv, thats why I bought a Kinsington Battery Pack so I can go everywhere with it. Also my computer decided to fry one making it do the samething and it did not recover from the experiance. I am just glad it did blow up my computer. I had used it for almost two weeks before my Computer decided it didn't like it. There is a thread by someone who know more than I do, on the forum some where that explains what happened.

Yes, I had read that in another post too. That's why I didn't want to plug it into my computer. Was your computer a laptop or desktop that you plugged into? I'll look into the Kinsington battery!

These really should be better quality for $20. But what's their incentive, since I'm sure they want us to just keep purchasing new batteries.

We use this AC to USB Wall Charger Adapter, My Buddy had already smoked his computer (learned the hard way, Dell XPS only a year old, right after warranty expired) with the USB Pass Through Plugged into his Computer.

We Bought a bunch of these to get the better price and they are real good units.

Universal Rapid AC to Standard USB Cable Home / Travel Charger USB 5 Volt with 1000 mAh Output
