So, I searched around the forum, and it seems like every mod is using an auto battery which requires you to make your own button to regulate the flow of electricity (to turn it on and off basically). However, I have a manual (push button) battery going bad. Shouldn't I just be able to:
1. Take apart my battery and remove the batteries
2. Strip a USB cord
3. Solder the USB cord to the manual battery's button connector (where the wires from the removed batteries were going to)
???
4. Profit?
It's seems if the manual battery already has a button to regulate the electricity, then this should work right? All I should be doing is replacing the power source from batteries to a power source from a USB cable, so... am I missing a step? It just seems too easy, and I feel like I'm missing something here.
