USB Passthroughs and iPhone wall charger

I've read that some people don't think it's entirely safe for your computer to use a USB passthrough to vape. Is it ok to vape with a wall outlet iPhone or iPod charger? I tried reading the specs off it, but didn't see anything on the power output.

Make sure you get a wall charger that puts the output above 1 amp.

I have used the iPhone USB wall charger many times with no issue. Give out great vapor. Then again never had any issues using the passthrough on my Mac book Pro either. All USB ports still work

USB Standards are 5v @ ≥500ma. The iPhone charger is 5v 1A. Now, that doesn't mean that you're going to ALWAYS receive 1A (1000ma). The charger is capable of putting that out if demand requires it...I hope it helps.

OH! and be careful of cheap/no name chargers (house or mobile) with a USB port. Not all of them stick to the 5v ≥500ma standard. One car charger I've had spit out 12v out of the USB port...just something to be careful about.

For the car, I use a Griffen PowerJolt with 2 USB Ports on it. 2*5v 500ma or 1*5v 1A. Walmart, 13 bucks. Hope this helps.

One more note: I personally wouldn't use a pass through with my computer. Essentially to get the atomizer to heat up, you're shorting the circuit. That could potentially damage your USB controller.

I am also using the Iphone Wall charger. Specifically, I'm using the official wall adapter that comes with the Iphone.

And actually, the ratings for the charger ARE on it, their just REALLY hard to read.

RavenII is correct. 5v at 1A.

I'm currently using mine, and it works GREAT! My vapor is warmer, And i get better throat hits using it versus using my PC, or using a wall to USB adapter that only pumps out .5A

I have yet to have any problems, No burned out Atomizers or anything.
