USB passthru for KR808D1 cartomizers?

Hey guys, I've found a few USB passthroughs from various vendors. Just wondering if anyone could point out a good one. I've heard that most passthru devices are just constantly recharging batteries, versus actually being powered by your computer. Anybody know of one that is actually powered by your USB with no battery involved that will take my kr808d1 cartomizers? I guess one that needs to be powered by an AC wall adapter wouldn't be so bad either, so those count too. The idea of a passthru is all about longevity to me, like not having to replace it at the same rate you would batteries, so a battery-less model would be ideal.

Like I said, I've found quite a few, but I wonder if anyone has personal experience with one that could share their thoughts and suggestions. Vendors for e-cig products seem hesitant to provide prudent information like this. Thanks, all answers are appreciated!

I use a V4L usb passthru and love it, it also came with a car adapter. I'm not sure what you mean by charging, maybe some of them run off a battery charge, not sure. I have heard you can buy portable usb batteries to bring it with you and of course ac adapters. Anyway, it really does save a lot of wear and tear on my regular batteries and would absolutely recommend one, I've only used the VaporKing passthru from V4L and its great.

PS. Vaporking and KR808D-1 are compatible.

I appreciate this info. It's always good to ask those with experience. To clarify, I've heard that 'cheap' passthroughs work by constantly charging an inline battery, and 'good' ones draw power from the usb port every time you drag and have no battery. Either way, this advice is enough to steer me in the right direction. Thanks a lot everyone, I think I'll check out V4L. I'll probably wrap it in electrical tape, cause I think it'd be prettier than their logo all over the thing.

Thanks again!
