USB Passthru..??

I have two question.

1. What exactly does USB Passthru mean?? Does that just mean it's a USB Charger that allows you to connect another USB device to it as well so your charger doesn't take up your USB port?

I already have a eGo (which I love). I just ordered a low resistance atty to try out with the eGo. I also ordered a small Joye 510 battery to use for when I am on-the-go; when I want to keep my PV concealed. So my other question is..

2. Will my USB charger for my eGo charge the Joye 510 battery as well?

Thanks!

1. It works like a battery. You plug it into your computer and vape no need for a battery. No battery dying on you you are just tethered to your computer. My husband can't live without it.

2. I'm not sure. Hubby uses the USB passthrough with his 510 atty and carts

A usb pass through is a PV that you can plug into a USB port, like on a computer, and powers the PV that you are smoking at 3.7 or 5v.

There are 2 kinds of pass throughs the first is a inline battery PT which uses a 10440 battery to power it and the battery is charged by plugging it into the computer USB port. These units vape at 3.7 volts. Then there is a regular pt that just plugs into a USB plug and vapes at 5v.

I don't think that it will but I have not tried it since I mostly use li-ion batteries.

I vape almost exclusively on my 5 volt usb passthrough. I couldn't make it without it. It gives me a higher voltage for that sweet spot that is exactly the same every time unlike batteries that grow dim as they lose their charge. I use mine with a usb to 110 volt ac adapter. The nice part was Mad Vapes had both the 5 volt and the regular passthrough for the same price so it wasn't any extra for 5 volts.

I don't really intend to use a USB passthru. Just would like a USB charger for the Joye 510 battery. Also need some blank 510 round carts. Any suggestions on where to get both of these?
USB e-Cigarette battery charger for models DSE801 DSE901 DSE103 JOYE510 RN4081 RN4075 RN4072 KR808D-1

It is a universal charger to charge several different models including a 510. On sale too. ;)

Also has round cartridges in stock (and they have whistle tips for 510, which I prefer... so I'll be bookmarking that).
Vapor Kings - JOYE 510, DSE801, RN4072, DSE901, RN4075, RN4062 and KR808D-1 e-Cigarette batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid, accessories and more!

I vape on my PT at work all day but when I get home it's pick the mod time.

Thanks guys. I got a USB charger, a PCC, and two packs of carts from VaporKings. They seem to be a pretty legit supplier. Thanks again ECF!! This forum is "the ....".

Figured I'd ask my question here as its related. I have the DSE 901 and purchased a USB passthru for it with the manual button. This means when I push the button the atomizer is getting 5V from the USB port its plugged into. That's 25% or so more voltage than the 3.7V that the battery supplies to the same atomizer. I assume the numbers would be similar for the 510 passthru mentioned by the OP.

Will that kill the atomizer? Make its life considerably less? Make the taste different than when on a battery?
