I totally understand wanting to find a good deal....but you don't want to lose your computer or set your house on fire over it. 8-o

oh...I should probably add....despite what the specs are about 2.0amps per port....I really wouldn't try and use more than one at a time IF your using it for a pass through. For charging go for it....use em all. And if you can possibly plug it into a surge protector that is NOT attached to your PC I would do that too.
Amazon.com: Belkin Mini Surge Protector Dual USB Charger: Electronics

You CAN NOT use the USB ports on this one for a pass through, just charging. But you've got a mini surge protector thats easy to move around the house if your not at your PC.

This topic has not been posted on in a while, but I have a question about my PT. It just stopped working after about a week. When I bought it, it was my understanding that I plug it into my computer USB port, and it would always stay charged. But as I read this thread, it sounds like you have to charge them. Did I read it all wrong? I plugged my PT into a charger, and it indicated that it was fully charged. I'm confused. Maybe the PT just died.

There are two types of PT's.

One is a battery that is charged via your usb connection, you can vape it plugged in or pull it out and continue to vape. This is not a true PT.

The true PT cannot be used unless it is plugged in as there is no battery.

A couple of things: if it is the faux PT and an automatic and you drip... juice can get in and ruin the battery. The manual does not have the hole so that is not an issue.

In either case, try cleaning both the PT and the cart connection. I use a paper towel single wrapped around a round toothpick to clean around the "vally" that can trap juice in it. This build-up has caused good gear to temporarily not work and cleaning the connection solved it.

Also try a different usb connection on your PC, (preferably one on the back) to see if it is your usb port that is the real issue.

If all testing verifies that the PT is indead dead, contact your sales rep for a return/replacement.

Thanks for your helpful reply. I have a true PT, and tried your suggestions. Unfortunately, I think it's dead and I deleted the confirmation email telling me which company I bought it from. That's a $15 lesson learned.
