I notice on my ready made e liquids there is usually a use by date on the cap. In most cases its almost 2 years ahead ie 2015. That's on the ones I'm using.

I've read many threads on a few forums and I'm aware that nic base will last up to 2 yrs and probably longer kept dark and cold. Does anyone know how long VG and PG will store? Also concentrate flavour's? And how should they be stored and is there likely to be a ban on them ?

I'm itching to start trying some diy eliquids before any possible future legal changes.

45 years on marlboro reds and not one in 5 weeks now!!

I don't have an answer for the shelf-life of flavorings, PG or VG - but here's the thing: those won't be regulated or restricted or taxed. Nicotine will. PG, VG and flavorings all have other markets and other applications.
So if you are into DIY, and you have some NIC base in the freezer, you're somewhat protected from those legal changes!

Go ahead and dip into DIY!!!
It's fun and CHEAP! I recommend reading a ton of threads in the DIY section to become familiar with recipes and procedures - that's what I did. And from the very start, I was making juice I liked!

Lots of us have vaped juices that sat in a box and steeped for two years. When the stash gets low, those juices come into play. I haven't encountered one that didn't taste right. I could see how a sugary juice might ferment. You'd probably know if it did.

PG shelf life is 2 years according to Dow.
