I was taking apart an old 401 to make a connector for a 510 mod box and as I pulled out the mesh I was reminded of another post about using the metal foam in a cart. I thought if it would work in a cart it should also work instead of one. I gently rolled a small piece up and pushed it into a 306 high bridged atty. I also put a small piece inside the bridge of a 401 that I tailpipe. Both atties are my regulars and I normally drip two drops and vape until smoke diminishes, which it does quickly. It is also very inconsistent, works good then it doesn't and floods easily.
Now it hits a little harder, seems a little warmer and tons of smoke. It no longer has any inconsistency, every hit is the same until there is flavor loss, two more drops and the same every time. I guess it could be that both started working really good at the same time but it could be getting the liquid closer to the burn spot, I don't know but it seems a lot better.
