Queen.... I just happend to be crusing this forum, and ran across this question... I do believe you would get a answer to this...in the modding forum more quickly....But here goes(keep in mind I'm no expert)...here is a pic.of the fuses that I use in my in my pipe mods....
2cypk7o.jpg

I bought two different ones, but have used only the bottom one, because it is easy're for me to use....it is very small, but it is very easy to solder....If you tin the two tabs before hand, hold the fuse on them and touch the iron to the the two ends of fuse, your done...

hope this helps....I listed the supplier in the pic....Oh and these resetable fuse are 5AMP trip;3AMP hold current.....

But please.....go to the modding forum....and ask.....also do a search for fuses;3amp fuses;short circuit protection...

Also since you are across the pond...look locally...for like "Littlefuse".....FYI these fuses where about 50 cents US apeice...

But do goto the Modding forum and the Mouser website and look this up for starting point...

Questions????......... There will be a test at the end of class......

Hope this helps....duckie....

Thanks, I was thinking on a fuse like this :

Kit6Fuse.jpg

, with a fuse holder, easy to remove and replace, do you think it's a good idea? Because it's a box mod I have plenty of space, Thank you very much for your help

If I remember right, when I was reseaching fuses, that will work;2amp-3amp?(not much higher)....Are look at the newer blade style auto fuses? They also make a mini blade style fuse for the newer cars.....

Queen....Please do your research in this forum....Never take the just one persons opinion on the web.....especially a illiterate redneck from Texas......
