Using adapters with the Reo...

Hey guys - I was wondering what your success is with using an adapter on your Reos. I recently started using a 901 atomizer on my Reo but the juice (70% PG) seems to not go past the adapter.

My success is pretty good.

The only two I've tried is the stealth 801 adapter from avid (i've been told it works much better than the taller ones)

And the 901 adapter I got from EmpireMods.

They seem to work fine, but they make me nervous .... Sucks to have a 1.50 part short out a 150.00 mod.

And I haven't found any attys "that" much better than 510/306 to warrant the risk IMO.

True about the short... that would really piss me off. The adapter I have is pretty solid (knock on wood), but also seems stubborn.

I have used a 510 to 808 adapter a few times. I always check it with the ohm meter before I use it and always put it on with the battery out & recheck it......paranoid I guess.

When using 901 atty on my grand, I use the 510 to 901 adapter from R&R Manufacturing. It has a small tube attached to the center post and makes the juice travel straight to the coil.

Adapters increase the risk of creating a short circuit in your mod, so be aware of that.

I plan on purchasing a 901 adapter from the reo site. I assume that hes tested them on his units for size and such. but I hear you should attach your adapter to the atty and test it before attaching to your Reo, to avoid a possible short. I bought a 901 from Nhaler to use on my silver bullet, and the end was too long and fried my silver bullet. when i sent it in to be repaired, chad was kind enough to shave my adapter to fit my bullet safely. I would advise buying the adapters from the sites where you purchased the unit that you plan to use it on. and still check it before using it.

Most adapters are are adjustable and you would need to have your adapter set up for different brand atomizers they very.You could send me your adapter and the atomizer you use I would set it up if your not comfortable doing it yourself
