I've found that I've been using the need for a cigarette as an excuse to take a break from whatever I've been doing. And I've been using the the analog itself as kind of a break 'timer' -- I'll 'take a break just long enough to smoke a cigarette' kind of thing.

Does/did anyone else do that? If so, did you have to find a substitute break timer? What was it? Snacking?

I don't feel like I can use my PV for a timer because I want it with me always. LOL

The whole timing thing is a little weird when you first start vaping but you get into the rhythm of it pretty quickly. I did realize that most of my time or planning revolved around smoking. Like, have a cig then do X. Now you can have a couple vapes, stick it in your pocket. Cigarettes controlled my life. vaping doesn't do that. Another plus for vaping.

Nooooo to the snacking! Another plus for vaping! I don't eat more than I did. Haven't gained a pound since vaping.

I still do the smoke break thing at work to go vape with a co-worker. I find it's good to just get up from the desk and move around. I can vape at my desk, and do, but I like to get outside of the building just to clear my mind. I tried the timing thing at first only vaping when I would normally take a smoke break (with analogs before the PV) but I found the PV does a great job of relieving stress just like the analogs did.

LOL I was just wondering about this very same thing! Won't start vaping until my order arrives this week, but I was on a smoke break today, and found myself thinking "ok, 2 cigarettes plus drive time makes 15 minutes. Wait, how will I time 15 minutes next week?" I love the suggestions of the above posts to just vape while working, but as a registered nurse working with children... Yeah, even vaping is pretty much out of the question while actively working. ECF is a good idea. I might bring my kindle to work and read a few pages. I'd also love to hear more ideas though!
